Would give 5 stars 🌟 if we could. The vegan mezze was so tasty and beautifully presented. Nice to see a good choice of cocktails too for a change. Had the Watermelon/Bubblegum one which sounds bad but was good, Iced Tea also fab. Pudding a chocolatey fondant so a win there too.

My husband and I visited here on the strength of the reviews below.. and were very glad that we did. The staff are friendly, helpful & knowledgeable (and i have waistcoat envy!) You get a little dish on your table straightaway consisting of a small aperitf, glasses of water with orange slices in and rose water tea (i think?). John chose a selection of mezze and i chose a cauliflower steak in hummus (?). For drinks we had a black coffee and a pot of mint tea (served in a lovely shiny silver pot and a tea glass. The food was very tasty, good portion sizes and came with dishes of flat bread. The service was very quick, and the waiters attentive without hovering over you (always a bonus!). We thought the price was good, and were pleased to see that the place was nice and busy. Its tough running an independent restaurant in the current economic climate, so please do support them😄The only minor niggle and its a tiny one.. the complimentary chocolates that came with the bill... there was uncertainty as to whether they were vegan friendly. We took them anyway to give to a friend of ours instead.

Excellent vegan mezze and lovely vegan desserts - Edit
Almost everyone does vegan options now, so it can be hard to stand out in this category. We had the vegan mezze as our main course and that was very tasty but the standout experience was the two vegan desserts that we tried: a chocolate fondant and a lime cheese cake. Baroushka have made a real creative effort with their vegan options and created a memorable and delicious experience for vegans. Well beyond the run of the mill and not particularly expensive.
Read morePS I don't think it is helpful that Happy Cow block giving 5 stars for restaurants that are not completely vegetarian. The distinction between vegan options and completely vegan or vegetarian restaurants is important but is already clearly covered by the available filters.

Amazing food, beautiful setting and such friendly staff - Edit
Fast becoming my favourite restaurant in Salisbury! The staff are so wonderful and friendly and helpful when choosing vegan options. As with most Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food there are a lot of vegan options or dishes that can easily be adapted to be vegan. I highly recommend just getting their vegan mezze which has a great selection of their best bits. Their food is so beautifully done and every mouthful is exquisite. They also have a great selection of drinks including non-alcoholic cocktails.

They deliver surprisingly far our of Salisbury too, we live in Boscombe some 20mins away and everytime we've ordered the food has arrived in great condition. Their website is really easy to use and order from with vegan items clearly labelled.
