Café in the the Barfuss Park. Has plant milks for hot beverages and a changing selection of vegan cakes and baked goods. Also has pre-packed sorbets. Open Mon-Fri 10:00-17:00, Sat-Sun 10:00-18:00.

At least a tiny bit of vegan food in the park

I was surprised that they had any vegan cake at all. „Vegan“ was written in very very tiny green pencil on the handwritten signs in the cake display.
The two vegan options where some enormous apple cake slices and the „banana meets walnut“ cake.
They also had the option to ask for oatmilk in their coffees.
Their ice cream is a bit weird. While the soft serve is on display, the freezer holding all the pre-packed ice cream is hidden from view behind the counter and you have to ask for vegan ice (like the cactus ice) and hope that the sales person knows which ones are vegan. I really hope they will put the usual signs provided by the ice company up somewhere so one can browse the ice on one‘s own accord.

The banana/wallnut cake was surprisingly good (the base was 🤌and the whole cake only had the feintest hint of banana).

Pros: There was vegan cake

Cons: I would like some savory dishes as well please, Vegan marking way too small, Vegan ice cream options not written down
