The WOW Factor! A Good Start - Edit
All service is peaceful, social, and warm. In the summertime, outdoor seating is a hit. If you want to get out of the sun's rays, you have the option to sit inside. You can find dogs sitting next to their owners outside, which is cute to see. The boats and water are nearby and can be seen while you eat.
Read moreThe food is tasty, but it's nothing you can't make at home. Bareburger tends to get their burgers from a third party place. The fries are not too hard and not too soft. The burgers themselves are a treat with its mock meat.
I've had Bareburger at multiple locations throughout the years. My number one con is that the menu altered by removing vegan options over the years. I've noticed how each location has different options. For instance, one time I had a fish burger at a location in New York, but the Stamford location does not. It'd be great for their to be more desserts, such as milkshakes or cake.
One burger does not usually tide me over, unfortunately. These burgers are high caloric because they are on the junkie side, but I tend to still be hungry afterwards.
What happened to the hot dogs?? I understand that Bareburger is not Barehotdog, but it would be great to have customer variety.
Pros: A separate vegan menu, Fantastic water views, Outdoor seating & kind service
Cons: No more hot dogs on the menu, No vegan desserts, Burgers are small

Bareburger was delicious and everything is clearly labeled on the menu. I got the black bean burger and some fries, and everything was excellent! They had 3 different vegan burgers to choose from. I can’t wait to visit again to try a different burger😄

This summer, the Stamford location has stopped serving the vegan carrot cake. They have also trimmed their vegan section down to 4 sandwiches. I went for the vegan fish sandwich and carrot cake, and got neither ☹️. I still had a delish impossible mushroom burger, and they have some vegan dips for the fries, but I was sad to see the vegan options shrink. Vegan options used to take up one whole side of the menu. No more. The staff is as lovely as ever. The beer is still cold, and the outdoor seating is still great!

We stopped at bare burger while traveling through Stamford area. We tried the gulf (vegan fish sandwich), guadalupe (black bean burger), plant/based chicken nuggets, and fries. The food was just okay (not spectacular). The servers were nice and were knowledgeable about the vegan options.

I first heard about this place from a college friend who does the artwork for their menus and media. I went with my non-veg bf and we both loved what we got. They have really good quality so they're pricey. I don't love that they charge separately for fries, but they are good. Basically you can bring anyone here and they'll love it, half the menu is meat and the other half is vegan.

This place offers both impossible burger and beyond burger! Great sides too. And great place for kids with crayons and veg kids meals. Nice outdoor seating area. We liked this place a lot for a healthy, family meal.
