really salty and small portions - Edit
The burger was not too bad, but I found it kind of really salty... but it's nice that you can customize your own burger, and they mark everything that's vegan! They also have gluten free options! I kind of felt sick after eating there, maybe because it was really oily!?

I recently visited Bear Burger an organic and local burger chain. I had an the option of three veggie burgers, multiple toppings and great sides; there is something to please any vegans. I had a quinoa burger wrapped in collard greens with sweet pickles. Sweet and regular potato fries on the side.

Great Vegan Burgers - Edit
The black bean burger is great, I love that they offer vegan cheese! All vegan items are listed on their menu.

Extensive but decent portions - Edit
Had the Farmstead burger which doesn't have a bun but is wrapped in a giant green. It's tasty and with the fries was very filling (also had free refill soda) but it came to almost $17 before tip which seemed rather pricey.
Pros: a couple of options, free drink refills, good service

Fine choice in a tough neighborhood for vegans - Edit
This Bareburger is in the financial district. In this neigbhborhood, other than some ethnic restaurants that offer vegan fare, and a very few vegetarian restaurants, there are few vegan friendly restaurants. So this place is a welcome option, as long as you can tolerate the burger joint ambiance. The vegan burgers were fine, service is friendly and quick.
