It's a place to have luch everyday. Each day they have a different menu, sometimes thematic. I love the salads and desserts (most of them are vegan).

Little bit hidden, but a lovely surprise - Edit
Located on the first floor, it is not a restaurant you would easily stumble across. They offer a variety of different veggie options, that even my meat-loving friend honestly enjoyed. The staff is unfortunately not very polite, but if you don't mind the missing hospitality, then this place is for you.

Good food, great desserts - Edit
The best desserts in Rio are found here, and it's pay-by-weight, so come with a sweet tooth. I ate my fill here, especially the farofa, which I thought was particularly good

Glorious Caricoca Veggie Space - Edit
This may be one of Rio's best kept secrets. The entrance is completely unmarked; it's only after you go upstairs that you hear, smell, and see the restaurant.
Read moreI went on a Wednesday based on a previous comment, and the selection was all vegan. I can imagine it wouldn't be as appealing on other days, but it was pretty tasty, with a nice (though pretty simple) selection. The dairy-free deserts were great too.
It's clear that this place is very popular as it was nearly packed when I was in. The staff was very friendly though – if not a bit over-efficient, removing my plate with a bit left on it when I'd gotten up to get another juice.
For a vegan, it doesn't have the same variety and level of skill as a place used to working with v plates all the time, but still a great spot to visit in downtown RJ.
Pros: tasty, hearty, friendly, clean, interesting building/atmosphere
Cons: limited selection, limited hours, only vegan on Weds

Nice food - Edit
Nice food, but on some days they might taste quite the same.
Read moreLast time I was there, they started serving fish as well, so they're not to be considered 100% anymore.
Overall, it's a good place to go.
