Vegan Burritos

Love option of vegan burrito WITHOUT tofu! ❤️

Pros: Vegan burrito option without tofu, Many ingredients to choose from, Guac is pretty good

Cons: Guac is pricey for amount provided ☹️, Salsa is watery/bland and chips are extra salty, Drink options very limited

Vegan options

They make specifically vegan burritos with tofu. No vegan cheese options and no gluten free options for wraps. But the food we got was very good

Pros: Veggie options and tofu, Don’t need to “make special” vegan on menu

Cons: No vegan cheese

Tex-Mex takeout or eat in

If you are a gluten free vegan, then I suggest that you build your own bowl and get creative with the vege options. I had the pinto (lard free) beans and marinated fresh large chunks of tofu, romaine, guacamole, olives and pico de gallo. Food was clean and fresh. The staff was very nice. A cute bonus was the color changing cup. They offer both sweet and un sweet tea freshly brewed. Very good over all for a quick lunch.

Pros: Lots of color and options in the vege bowl, Light music in background, colorful environment, Fast and friendly

Cons: None really

I love Barberitos

I must disclose that I am a Mexican food fanatic. I loved Barberitos even before I became vegan. Since at the time I was a meat eater I never noticed they had vegan options. I am a new vegan (three weeks). Since I had become vegan I have been eating at home, because I didn’t know where to eat. Well today I found happy cow and it was a God send. When I found out that Barberitos had vegan options I got excited and went with my family (meat eaters). Now on to the review. I ordered the vegan burrito. It had rice, black beans, marinated tofu, lettuce, pico de Gallo, and cilantro. It came with tortilla chips and I got some salsa verde from the salsa bar. I also got some lime wedges and squeezed lime juice all over the burrito and tortilla chips. The burrito was huge. I could only eat a little more than half, despite the fact it was so yummy. Oh I forgot to mention the guacamole is a few cents extra but worth it.

Pros: Vegan options on the menu, Yummy!, Reasonable prices

Cons: None as far as I am concerned
