Great Caponata - Edit
Turrisi seems to have a restaurant, gelato shop, pizzeria and outdoor piazza seating (which would be more suitable for kids, just don’t let them see the drinks list). I sat outside in the piazza with a wonderful view of the church and Etna. Had the caponata and a local Belgian ale. A little pricey for what you get, but it was good.

Beautiful place and surprising interior - Edit
They don't label things specifically for vegans but for vegetarians. When asked the waiter didn't know what it meant. I had the spaghetti pomodore because of other previous vegan guests - and it was pretty good!

Incredible view, unique decor and atmosphere - Edit
It’s worth a visit for the unique ambience. The bar has multiple levels and the view from the top floor is one of the best in Italy, overlooking the sea and Mount Etna. The bar is famous for its “adult” decor, so be prepared that it is not family-friendly. Some vegan local specialties such as caponata with a nice selection of local beer and wine on the rooftop floor is a very nice experience.
