Sophisticated + Delicious - Edit
I was not sure what to expect at this restaurant, but I can describe the food as adventurous, sophististicsted and top-notch. The friendly woman at the counter stsrtrd me with a complimentart matto appetizer. Completely unexpected and unusual but very tssty. I then had some of the best kimchi I have had. Crunchy and very flavorful . For my main, I had an eggplant dish. Brreaded eggplant over a creamy sauce with a number of pleasantly surprising flavors.

Great eastern/central european food - Edit
This place is a gem.
Read moreThe interior design takes you back in time.
The food in general was really tasty, but the potato one had a very salty sauce which was barely eatable for me personally. And they mixed up our order and brought us the wrong food. That is also why i give only 4 stars. Nevertheless, i highly recommend this place since the food is in general great and something you don’t get every day.

Soo lovely - Edit
The place has an amazing 70s vibe, with all that Japanese psychodelic rock, the vintage dishes and the bistro tables. It's been a bit cold but unless you visit the place while it's having-10°C outside (like us) that shouldn't be a problem.
Read moreThe waiter has been so cute and welcoming, helping us with understanding the Polish menu and repetitively excusing for running out of Kombucha. Which brings me to the food. And oh my dear has that been wonderful! We absolutely loved it. It tasted how I imagine the dishes your Polish grandma serves but in vegan. The bread came fresh from the oven which was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend it! #Veganuary
Pros: The overall atmosphere , The fresh bread, The kindness of the people

Wholesomeness if it was a restaurant - Edit
SO good. Simply just go if you have the chance. The cozy vibe is so fantastic for a little friend meet up. The food - stunning. The soup I got tasted like Poland in a bowl, comforting, yet there was also something unique in it. The bread appetizer that came with mushroom salt and flavored oil with the additional miso butter was exceptional. I also had the chance to try the potatoes my friend ordered - never have I ever tried this vegetable, my favorite, in this way with sweet syrup, cream and bean „sauce” (?), but it worked so well together. Can’t forget the beautiful plates and cups. All that at such a good price point

1960's, but vegan - Edit
Kombucha can be seen fermenting on the old wooden shelves. They sell it in glass bottles with hand written labels looking like syrup from grandma. It's delicious. Their drip coffee was amazing too.

Interesting - Edit
We had few appetizers and some drinks, I absolutely loved their home made kombucha. Home made bread was lovely too. Pimientos "pardon" were dissapointing though, just half raw yellow peppers fried a bit.

Imaginative food - Edit
I tried Podpłomyk (flatbread with various toppings like mushrooms and beans). It was original and filling, but I liked my partner’s dish more — it was really good.
Read moreI also enjoyed the starter. It was very simple — just bread, some oil and miso “butter”, but the butter was very tasty and the flavour was creative.
What I like the most about this place is that you won’t get food like that anywhere else, so going here is an interesting culinary experience. They use seasonal products, so the menu changes quite often.
I’ll definitely come back to try more of their imaginative dishes 😋
P.S. One of the owners who served us was really friendly and the interior is atmospheric.

Creative and tasty! - Edit
I was a bit skeptical before coming here for the first time (as they just opened up and had “unusual” menu) but I can honestly say that I’m impressed!
Read moreFirst, the place has its own vibe, a mixture of hipster, “raw”, traditional and artsy ambiance — and feels authentic and unpretentious. Staff is friendly, service might be a bit slow at times but given the small crew they are efficient. One con is the lack of AC, so can get quite hot.
Still, food is what matters here and mir doesn’t disappoint. We’ll, actually it’s more than that — their dishes are creative, the taste and texture multilayered, with unexpected combinations. Note that I’ve only tried 2 of their dishes: podpłomyk and suflet z kalafiora (cauliflower soufflé), the latter deserving much more praise. I’m definitely coming back again to try the rest of the menu. Recommended!

Bar Mir is the one of the most playful places I've ever been to! - Edit
It's an amazing vegan restaurant providing dishes based on their homemade ingredients like butter bean miso paste, peas shoyu sauce, thyme kombucha, peas tempeh and many more. Plates are very surprising in terms of their unique taste (of course in a good way). Menu is inspired by local and seasonal ingredients. Totally worth visiting, re-visiting too. Glad that I have a place like this near my home.
