Beautiful fine dining

Relaxed fine dining where the food shines. The restaurant only uses food grown and produced in Victoria, and about 60% of the produce comes from their nearby restaurant garden.

The 7 course vegan menu was fabulous, and the service was great. A very enjoyable and memorable experience.

Pros: Great variety of dishes., Wonderful relaxed atmosphere., Interesting selection of non-alcoholic drinks.

Relaxed fine dining in a beautiful country town

Bar Midland is a fine dining venue in Castlemaine which offers Vegan or Vegetarian dining on request. The menu is degustation 7 course which changes seasonally and uses exclusively local produce. Matched wine or non-alcoholic drinks are available. Service is excellent, the vibe is relaxed rather than razzle dazzle.

I chose the vegetarian degustation with matched non-alcoholic drinks, and it was excellent. The relaxed pace made this a 2 hour + experience.

Pros: Interesting use of local ingredients, Relaxed but excellent service and vibe, Excellent wine and non-alc options

Cons: Not open 7 days, Not exclusively Vegan/Veg, but well catered for., Booking required.
