Terrific tapas - Edit
We shared three courses of tapas which the chef prepared for us (bread with homemade hummus and beetroot salad, topped tortillas, samosas and 'meat' balls) and everything was just perfect. We would definitely come again!

Read moreWent to Bar d'Henri during my overnight stay in Antwerp and I wish I had better words to tell you how impressed I was. Seriously, whatever I said, will make no justice to how good it really was.
Keep in mind, this comes from a guy who unfortunately likes meat a LOT. I understand and support veganism, I'd say in every aspect of it, but I guess I'm just weak (maybe someday I'll manage!). I swear, 2 things came to my mind after I nervously took the first bite of my vegan burger. 1. Djeez!! This is far better that I could've imagine.
2. Going Vegan would be a lot easier if I had easy access to this! (I already requested/suggested expanding the business to Costa Rica haha)
Really guys, I'm a meat and picky eater and I was so pleased with the food here!
If you're already into vegan food, this place will not disappoint and if same as me, you're not much into, still give this place a try, I bet you'll be happily surprised. :)

Delicious food and exceptionally friendly personnel (a VERY rare find in Belgium😅)! My bf and I went there for an emergency takeaway on our way to Gent but I’m sure we will be back for a proper meal next time we are in Antwerp. 100% recommended 👍 and thank you Bar d’Henri! ✨

We were looking for a vegan place where there was a nice atmosphere, good healthy food (no junk) and where we would be tampered after a long day of hard work. Well, the people of Bar D'Henri made that happen. Everything feels right about this place. You're sincerely being welcomed when you arrive which is uncommon nowadays in my opinion. We were actually 'annoyed' by the menu because we couldn't decide from all the delicious options, we wanted it ALL haha. That's why we took the 5-course tapas which is amazing value for your money. It seems they make everything themselves in house, and that's what you see and taste back in the dishes and drinks. What we really liked about this place is that it doesn't scream VEGAN, although everything is vegan except for one cheese platter. And as entrepreneurs in the vegan space this is something that we think the market needs. A good restaurant with good food that happens to be vegan so we can show non-vegans how delicious plantbased food can be and that you really don't have to miss anything. Big thumbs up to the young owners and definitely go eat here when you're in Antwerp, you won't be disappointed!

Amazing place to have brunch/lunch. The hash browns are absolutely recommendable! Fast and friendly service.

I went here without any expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It's nice to sit down and just have a few beers and some tapas, or even forget about the time and just decide to sit down for a full dinner. The menu options all looked good and we decided to have the Chef's choice tapas, which turned out to be a lovely portion of the best gnocci I've ever had.

Great Food, Staff & Music in a Local Spot! - Edit
We really loved the vibe at Bar D'Henri. The staff were so friendly and the food and atmosphere was awesome. We had the Chef tapas choice which was a delicious sweet potato gnocchi and also the tapas board which was so well put together and tasty. Everything other than the cheese board was vegan and the cider was a perfect accompaniment. The jazz band was just setting up when we left and what a great vibe even before the music started. Would definitely return.

Such obvious care and attention to detail. The fresh vegetable angel hair pasta was everything I could have wanted and more. Absolutely LOADED with vegetables, this dish was made savory with copious quantities of caramelized onions and garlic. The chef understands that one can never have too much garlic. I am on holiday and as much as I enjoy trying new dishes this dish is the kind of food I cook for my daughters, it made me feel at home.
