Een sfeervol restaurant waar veel studenten komen. Ook het personeel is relatief jong Er staan behoorlijk wat vegan gerechten op het menu.
Read moreWe namen de maaltijdplank vegan. Het is een volwaardige en gezonde maaltijd met allerlei verschillende smaken. Alles op de plank is lekker klaargemaakt en verrast in positieve zin. Het enige minpuntje was de linzensalade die uit niet meer bestaat dan rauwe spinazie en gekookte linzen. We denken dat de keuken per ongeluk een dressing is vergeten.
Pros: De gerechten zijn lekker, Gezellige sfeer, Vriendelijke bediening
Cons: Slechte akoestiek; snel een kakafonie

Good kimchi burger! 🍔🍺 - Edit
I had the kimchiburger with vegan cheese here and a beer (Gebrouwen door Vrouwen – Gin Weizen). It tasted good. It is a cozy place and you can sit upstairs too.

It's a real cozy spot with nice options. We ordered the vegan kimchi burger and the vegan snackmix. They gave us the veggie snackmix instead. I realized this only when I had already eaten their vegetarian snacks. This was a real bummer honestly, because the atmosphere and staff were so nice, and so were the vegan options I had. So just make sure they get you order right if you're vegan 💀🥲.

I had the vegan cali kapsalon, which tasted exactly the way I remember it. My company had the vegetarian version of the cali kapsalon and loved it although she's neither vegan nor vegetarian. Since they have so many dished I'm probably gonna try one of their desserts next time!

I really live this place. The inside is beautiful and the vegan food extremely tasty! I totally recommend the vegan kapsalon, as it is a must if you are in the Netherlands, quite difficult to find plant based and of course DELICIOUS !

Cozy place for a lovely dinner - Edit
I went here with my boyfriend last summer and we both ordered the vegan salad bowls, with fries and bread as sides. The salad bowls are very well composed, with original ingredients and delicious flavours. My boyfriend loved the salad, he said it was the best meal he had during our trip. The staff was very friendly, they had reserved us a table but we preferred another spot and they happily gave us another place to sit. Nice atmosphere, would definitely go again. Note that the menu might change over time, the meals mentioned in the above description of this restaurant are currently not on the menu, but there are still many vegan options.

Went here with my non vega(n) colleagues and we had a lovely dinner! We choose one meat- and one vegan dinner platter. I’ve (obviously) tried their vegan food and it was delicious! Such a nice and chill atmosphere! Would definitely recommend going there, especially with people who are not vegan, so you’re able to introduce them to vegan food while they won’t feel like they’re compromising!

I had a vegan tapas plate (borrelplankje) with 2 non-vegan friends here and it was really amazing. The boards were super full and all the flavors really good. A must go when in Nijmegen!

This is a nice, hipster cafe with plenty of good vegan food on the menu. My friend an I shared the vegetarian board of mixed foods, which can be adjusted to be vegan (we did that). It was lovely, with a mix of fresh soup, a home made sweet potato burger, salad, coleslaw, yuca crisps, some deepfried snacks and bread and dips. We also had the home made fries and vegan mayo on the side. It was all lovely and the place is very suited for an evening with friends as well as a romantic date. I definitly recommend it!

The “maaltijdplank” could be ordered in a vegan version and you got all kinds of food to share. Really tasty! Also vegan banana-coconut cake, which is really nice. Been here a several times and will go more often!

So there's not much vegan stuff to choose from but the sweet potato burger has a good amount of spice and is really tasty. When we were there it wasn't really busy so the service was quick and the staff really present. The place is really beautiful and everything seems to be done done with care. Upstairs there's a really chill hangout!
