Simple eatery offering Israeli street food like falafel, hummus, salads - all made-in-house. A soy shawarma and hummus available to take-out by weight. The only non-vegan item is hard-boiled egg in some sandwiches which could be omitted on request. Has gluten free pita. Previously known as Hippo Falafel. Open Mon-Fri 12:00am-12:00am, Mon-Thu 10:00am-12:00am, Fri 10:00am-3:00pm, Sat 7:00pm-11:00pm, Sun 10:00am-12:00am.

Great Food / Good, Friendly Service - Edit
Truly fits the description of comfort food - but for the most part, pretty healthy and ethical/humane (only eggs excluded from this) for comfort food. I go there regularly and always enjoy it. It's definitely pretty quick, reasonably cheap/inexpensive, and the folks working there are almost all quite friendly and nice. Maybe they'll eventually get rid of the eggs and be totally vegan. ;>)

Very Good Felafel - Edit
I had a tasty felafel in a whole wheat pita; you can get also white or gluten free, or a giant "laffa" pita that is rolled up like a giant burrito. There were lots of salads and toppings to choose from, and a bar with special sauces. A small side order of fries was perfectly done. Friendly staff. Also, other options available, 99% vegan.
