I was skeptical because the reviews were mixed but we were pleasantly surprised. We had the lentil ceviche and my kids devoured it. It was a bit too salty for my taste but it was very refreshing. I had the enfrijolada and it was average. My daughter had the hotdogs and she loved them. The pasta was the best meal, both the alfredo and bolognese were delicious. G

I visited this café twice and also ordered food online once. It’s the closest place to our hotel, and there aren’t many other options nearby. I previously stayed in Tulum for a week, and I have to say that Mexican vegan food wouldn’t make it into my top 10 cuisines I’ve tried while traveling. There also aren’t many large shops around where you can easily find vegan food, so you end up eating more out of necessity. My 14-year-old son wasn’t a fan either.
Read moreWhat I would rate 5/5, though, is the hot cacao with cinnamon — the best I’ve ever had. The cold drink with fresh strawberries was also amazing. I would definitely come back just for those drinks.
The lentil salad was disappointing — just lentils with onions and a lot of lemon juice. I couldn’t even finish it because it tasted too sour. Another taco salad was okay for filling hunger, but I wouldn’t order it again. Everything else we tried was just average.
Update: I returned for hot cacao and ordered some takeaway food for my son. When it came time to pay, I planned to use my card and had already prepared a cash tip. However, just as I was about to tap, the staff member asked, “No tips?”
I found this quite rude. Her English wasn’t very strong, so I’m not sure if she fully understood, but I mentioned that tips should not be requested—people give them if they wish. I still left the cash tip I had prepared, but this experience made me reconsider returning.

We ordered takeaway and I was honestly very shocked when we opened the food. We had ordered pasta, but it came without any sauce and was completely unseasoned. It was very dry and tasteless. You can clearly see this in the photo.

I don't like giving bad reviews but this needs to be said... For Mexico, the tortilla chips were no bueno. The guac was decent, but honestly who can mess that up? The burrito was disgusting (How are you going to have a burrito without beans?!) and the pizza was questionable. The vegetable tacos were the only decent thing. But the thing that really annoyed me the most was they did not include everything that I ordered for my pickup order. When I messaged them the next day about it, they just gave me a read receipt. That's it... No apology, no explanation, no "let us correct this mistake", etc. Nothing. I followed up multiple times and they still didn't ever reply. Lastly, for whatever reason, they do not accept Mastercard which was my only travel card. I had to use a Visa USA card so I got hit with a foreign transaction fee. I would not recommend them 👎. Go to Herbivoro instead.

The girl working was full of smiles and good energy. Can’t say the same for the guy. He probably should’ve gone home to sleep haha I came here twice as the price was fair and the food yummy! Plus it was near my hostel. Would definitely come back here again when in Cancun! Each meal I ordered was good and you can see them in the photos!

The staff was friendly and the food was good. It is definitely not fine dining or anything special. I ordered pizza and the crust was like bread and also had a rice pudding and the rice was undercooked. I think their cooking could improve, but multiple options to try and support a local vegan restaurant.

Read moreThe green juice was magnificent, even with spirulina! The Caesar salad had a great dressing that was evenly distributed across the lettuce, with more in the center for dipping which worked great. The only thing I wish it had was croutons.
The ham and cheese sandwich was good, but so overstuffed with ingredients that it masked the actual ham and cheese. The ciabatta it was served on was great.
I also tried their ice cream cone pastry, which was a nicely warmed puff pastry with a custard in the middle like ice cream. Really good!
Service was fast and friendly. I enjoyed eating on the patio outside in the cool evening air.

My first meal upon arriving in Cancun. I can’t even remember what they were called as I had just arrived and was a little tired, however the one that came in the green sauce was really tasty and would highly recommend. The other one was OK, but a little bland.

It's a cozy restaurant, with more space outside than inside, and with a very friendly staff. We went a couple of times, given the limited vegan options in the city, and tried the tasty pozole, the pepperoni pizza, which perhaps would have been better with a regular crust instead of whole-wheat, and the margherita pizza, the enchiladas... all very tasty, although the second time we went the service was very slow and uneven (one of the pizza slices was cold and broken), which was compensated by a portion of spiced potatoes. It's a good choice.

we got there right after landing in mexico. the food was fresh, the staff was super friendly and the juice (we chose mango) was delicious. i would recommend going! they have so much food to choose from it was amazing i couldn’t even decide which one to order.

I went there for my birthday and I was not disappointed. The beet salad was so yummy, the bruschetta was phenomenal, & the tacos were super inexpensive & were absolutely delicious! Our server brought out a vegan cake with a candle and helped sing me happy birthday which really made it special:) loved this place, will definitely visit again!
