Delicious vegan street food - Edit
We came here and tried almost everything on the menu: both kinds of banh mi, fried spring and fried banh goi. Everything was delicious and so cheap. Friendly owners. Highly recommended!

Completely vegan. Might be hard to see where it's located. But a friendly lady thought that we looked vegan and pointed us in to the small alleyway.

I love how crunchy the banh mi is and it also tastes delicious. This is the closest thing to our traditional Vietnamese banh mi.

Loved it! - Edit
So happy I was around when here was open, I made the most of it and tried everything!
Read moreThe original Banh mi was amazing, I wanted another as soon as I had finished it. Nice to have the mushroom pate too and something other than tofu as the veggie option.
The spring rolls and samosa pillow thing you must also try. The dip is lovely.
I wanted to try a dessert too, I think it was the lotus one I had (middle bottom of the menu). I liked it, wasn’t too sweet and the gloopy texture was interesting.
Pros: So tasty, Nice family, Simple, small
Cons: Wish they were open later and on weekends!

Delicious sandwiches - Edit
One of the best banh mi I have ever had! Kept going back during my stay in Hanoi. I tried the original banh mi, Vietnamese samosa, fried spring rolls and lotus seed che and loved every single dish. This family run restaurant is off the main road, google maps should get you to the right location. There is a sign on the main road indicating where the restaurant is. The staff are very friendly.

Oké for the price - Edit
I had the protein banh mi and the pillow donut. The Banh mi was a bit disappointing. There wasn't that much stuff in it, and the seitan was hard and difficult to chew. The herb saus and vegetable pate on the bread was really nice though. The Pillow donut was really nice. Especially with the little cucumber dipping saus they brought with it. When I was there they didn't have the deserts.

We enjoyed our meal here. The food is simple and basic but tasty for the price and very inexpensive...best dish is the high protein sandwich, which they often seem to run out of...it's down an alley off the main street...

Best Vegan Banh Mi in Vietnam - Edit
Dont miss this place! Delicious food at unbeatable prices in the company of a lovely family. They serve two different types of vegan banh mi. I preferred the "high protein" one - their mock meat and homemade sauce combination is divine. Their "vietnamese samosas" and spring rolls are also delicious. Go hungry and try some of everything!

Oh. My. God. This place is ridiculously good. Lovely people, good environment. Bread that is warm, crunchy and fluffy all at once with a great mix of flavours.

The food is amazing, the prices are affordable, and the family that runs this hole-in-the-wall gem are very kind and welcoming. The seating area is small, but that is easily forgiven by those lucky enough to find their way here for a meal.

Great little place with vegan food. - Edit
Nice vegan Bahn Mi and a small selection of other vegan items including dessert. Great value ! The place is located down an “alley” between buildings, after passing through a set of pavement metal gates after the OCB bank building on the north side of the road.

You must have a banh in Vientam - Edit
This tiny place is run by Vegan family. Banhs are super tasty, as well as spring rolls and other things. It's all freshly made so you need to wait a few minutes. They have a lovely daughter, about 10 y.o. who speaks good English and loves practicing it with customers while they are waiting for their food. Definitely worth visiting and trying banh as all from the street food are usually with meat and eggs.
