Can't stop thinking about this Banh Mi - Edit
This place now has meat options, but their vegan banh mi is 5-star worthy. We had the Tofu and also the mushroom sandwich and both were REALLY tasty. They were so good we went again the following day. We've had banh mi in Vietnam but this is up there with some of the best.

Tasty Asian-fusion - Edit
Would give it five stars if it was an option. Delicious food. Feels crazy having this tasty of Asian food at an Asian-fusion spot in Manchester. I got the nasi goreng and enjoyed it so much. The portion was big, definitely satisfying for a meal. There are a lot of other vegan options too that sounded really good. Harry, the chef / owner is very cool and kind in addition to being talented in the kitchen. I’d for sure recommend this place to anyone, especially if you’re at New Century.

Delicious & nutritious - Edit
Now located in New Century!!
Read moreNot the cheapest but so so tasty. I was so excited to see the Vietnamese coffee made with the coconut condensed milk that I returned a week later to eat more of the menu!!
We had the OG bahn mi (24 hour tofu, mushroom pâte, pickles & herbs), a summer roll, and the fries.
The bread for the bahn mi is so delicious - soft inside and good crisp crust. The pickles very crunchy and tangy. It had a little too much sauce to eat delicately (this is a compliment).
The summer roll is expensive at £6.5 for one, but it is tasty and the peanut sauce is very good.
The fries hot and well seasoned.
The coffee is so good too I love caffeine and sugar!!!
I love New Century and I think this is such a nice venue for Bahn Vi. Perfect date night venue 🥰
Pros: Fresh food made well, Venue very nice and accessible

Lovely food had deep fried mushrooms with tofu side. The mushrooms also can be served on a crusty roll. Yummy 😋 I'll be back soon😊

Enjoyable food - Edit
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. Since it’s often very hard to find this dish veganised, I had to go for the classic banh mi. The aged tofu was super yummy. I loved how fresh the salad tasted, though I would’ve liked a bit more spice to it. The portion was a little small, especially considering how expensive it is. I also had to wait ages to get my food - longer than the ordering site said it would take - so most of my table had finished their meals by the time mine arrived. Although I’d definitely come back here, the high price means it’s not somewhere I’d eat very often.

Worth a visit! - Edit
This is a pop-up cafe in a foodhall in the Altringham market building, there is plenty of seating but it can get busy (and cold!). There are about five mains and four sides to choose from, plus a range of sauces and Vietnamese coffee. I had the mushroom wings and spring rolls, both were really good! I’m already planning on my next visit. 😋 #Veganuary

Wonderful! - Edit
I was very glad I fired up happy cow when I visited Altrincham Market or I wouldn’t have discovered this little gem hidden round the back! We had mushroom wings and they were delightful. Also don’t miss the ginger tea-it’s very tasty!

Absolutely delicious food and friendly owner! We had the Bahn Mi baguette, Tom Yum noodle soup with a side of king mushroom wings, I give the food 10/10 and would definitely go back.

Great Asian street food - Edit
First visit to this Altrincham Market establishment. It’s a fresh, energetic, enthusiastic venue. A simple, authentic and well considered menu including delicious Banh Mi, Vietnamese spring rolls, rice bowls and pho. Excellently flavoured tofu in the Banh Mi. Good range of soft drinks too. There’s an open kitchen with all on display. The place is run by a young, keen team who are committed to this plant based offering. Highly recommended.
