Awesome vegan and vegetarian bánh mì options!

Outstanding bánh mì! Excellent service, super fresh ingredients and reasonable pricing! What more do you want? The chili tofu bánh mì is particularly awesome! Just ask for it vegan and they know what to do. The baguettes are perfectly light and flaky. Heidi, the owner, is literally the nicest person.

Pros: Delicious vegan and vegetarian options., Very cool decor., Owner is very pleasant.

The banh mi that they have has to be made vegan :(

They have two options and both are good. One has to be made vegan which is a little annoying.

Theoretically veg-friendly, but not in practice

We have ordered takeout from there twice, and both times they screwed up and the supposedly-Vegan Banh Mi was NOT vegan. They have gone out of their way to make it right, but regardless, it has been extremely upsetting. The first time, they put paté on our sandwiches, which was inexcusable. After speaking to the owner, who apologized up and down, we accepted a refund and free sandwiches for our next order. The next time, they sandwiches had mayo, and we foolishly didn't check them before leaving, although we did confirm verbally that they were vegan and were assured that they were. Upon calling them, they agreed to make us new sandwiches and deliver them, along with a glass noodle salad that they said they could make vegan (although it was basically just noodles & soy sauce). They were extremely apologetic, which is nice and all, but doesn't make up for being 2/2 on major vegan screwups.

Bottom line: don't trust this place if you're concerned about being served something non-Vegan.

Pros: Good bread, Honest people

Cons: Non-vegan risk, Vegan options limited
