Lucky I was on the ball because the first two banh cuon (steamed rice rolls) I picked up had beef in it 🤢
Read moreThey replaced the couple of rolls for vegan rolls but I was pretty nervous about the rest of the dish.
The roll filling is tofu, carrots, and mushroom and was good, the dipping sauce was soy sauce based rather than a vegan fish sauce.
The Chinese donut was stale and had been reheated, so was really tough and hard, and tasted of coconut oil.
The venue is cute and reminiscent of Vietnam.
