This place is yum!!! - Edit
Found this on HappyCow and visited with an omni coworker. Huge extensive menu with a lot of vegan options! They aren’t clearly labeled but the menu does say “vegan options upon request.” The really nice waitress was able to answer all my questions and clarify what exactly could be made vegan and how. I got pad Thai that was really good (but I ordered it too spicy!). I would definitely go back if I were in town.
Read moreAlso the restaurant is super cool and cute vibes. We sat outside which was a vibe, but would also love to sit inside!
Pros: Multiple vegan options, Tasty, Nice and attentive staff
Cons: Not super cheap, Not explicitly vegan labeled

Stellar food - Edit
Bottom line is, this place is an adorably decorated, buzzy, vibey spot with an efficient setup that is doing something way more interesting than your run of the mill restaurant Thai restaurant. It has a better than average vegan experience, which is not to say that it’s actually good.
Read moreThe menu says “vegan available upon request” and the waitstaff are substantially more knowledgeable than at most Thai places. The waitress had every vegan option memorized and startled rattling them off rapidly when I asked. I asked her to slow down and show me where things are on the menu, so at this point she’s getting stressed but I have only a fraction of the time to think about options that my friends do. This is still not a great experience compared to getting to sit with a well labeled menu. The pad see ew had me conflicted because while it was amazing, it was also not really entree sized, and I left a little hungry.

Vegan Options to Space Needle - Edit
Grabbed a quick bite of fried tofu. Yum although not fully vegan and right before going to the Space Needle! Timing was great and we got to enjoy the sunset from the tippy top!

Late Night Eats - Edit
This place has a great atmosphere and serves food very late into the night. The menu is quite long and while it lists that dishes can be made vegan, it does nothing to specify which ones. Thankfully, the server seemed to understand what a vegan was, but it took time going through the extensive online menu and having a conversation about what could or could not be made vegan. The food itself was ok! What I gathered is that if you ordered a dish vegan, there was no effort to try to replace the fish sauce or oyster sauce with another vegan seasoning, so you were left with unseasoned food. Also, the veggies in my fried rice were essentially raw, just slightly warm. So the execution here was not great, from my perspective. But if you’re in Belltown and need some late night food, Bangrak Market is a perfectly fine option.

Tasty vegan food but gf got sick - Edit
I got the pad see ew with tofu and asked for it vegan and it was very good! My girlfriend (who is pescatarian) got seafood fried rice which was also good apparently, however we went to a concert right after and she was feeling sick the whole time and eventually had to throw up😒not 100% certain if it was from the food but there wasn’t really anything else it could have been from, (I didn’t get sick btw). Other than that the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and good service, but we won’t be going back because she got sick. I suppose there’s not as much of a risk eating their vegan dishes lol

Wok Fried Goodness - Edit
OMG the colors, sounds, smells... all of the hustle and bustle of a Thai night market placed into one cozy shack. Bangrak Market was a definite site to see and they delivered both in atmosphere and food.
Read moreThe restaurant is broken up into two sections - the main dining room with a dazzling bar setup and lanterns floating above, and a smaller 'outdoor' shack with colorful tables, benches, and a cart taken straight from the streets of Chiang Mai (I don't know if it really did but it sure reminded me of that cozy town).
Our server was incredibly sweet to ensure that no fish sauce or animal products would be used in either of the dishes we ordered.
We ended up ordering their Drunken Noodles with Tofu ($14) first. The noodles came out piping hot on a plate and it was delicious. You could tell the quality of the dish came from the ingredients and the style of cooking they used. There's something special about using a heated wok to fry up noodles that gives it their charred and smoky flavor. I would absolutely get these noodles again.
Our second dish was their Corn Fritters ($10), which were already vegan. These were interesting to say the least - the texture resembled corn bread/muffin with a savory and crunchy toasted top. I enjoyed these but wouldn't order them again.
Pros: Beautiful dining area, Excellent vibe
Cons: Vegan options are not clearly marked

Late night Thai - Edit
Good option for late night Thai food in downtown Seattle. The location of the restaurant is great and you'll be met with a beautiful and colorful interior if you dine in. I got the pad thai with tofu and no egg, and the fried tofu appetizer. It was pretty good. I ate here twice within a week while visiting the area!

Lots of vegan and gluten-free options. Fast and friendly service. Food tastes different from regular Thai places (in a good, authentic way). Cool decor and atmosphere. Give it a try!

Unique Thai street food - Edit
I had the Pad Kee Mao with tofu and asked for it without fish sauce. It was delicious! Probably one of the best I’ve had. Ambiance in the restaurant is that of a Thai street food vendor and really unique for Seattle. The waiter seemed knowledgeable about veganism and while the menu just has a blanket statement that many dishes can be made vege/vegan, he was able to help locate the best options.
