My dad and I have been going to Bangkok spice for years and have always had a great experience! There always seems to be one employee there, Justin (who might be the owner), and he’s always very friendly and engaging.
I love the tofu w garlic sauce and mixed veggies, and my dad’s favorite is the vegetarian duck, which is vegan and made from seitan. They have sorbet too if you want dessert😄
Ordered to go and tried the summer rolls, fried tofu, Thai basil tofu and panang curry tofu. The fried tofu was not very good- it was triangle pieces of fried tofu without any flavor- served with a okay flavored dipping sauce. The summer rolls were pretty decent- the piece of tofu inside could have been bigger served with a peanut dipping sauce. The Thai basil tofu did not have many tofu pieces- more of a mild flavor to it, did not blow me away when I thought would be their signature flavor- I did think the onions inside the dish were a good flavor tho. The panang curry was very good tho- good peanut-y flavor to the sauce and a good amount of tofu pieces. I would order two curries next time.
