Lots of flavour! - Edit
I'm often underwhelmed with the food at chain restaurants but not this time! The food here was really tasty and I was impressed with the large variety of vegan options on the menu. For starters we had the crispy vegan gyoza with sweet chilli dip and Vietnamese spring rolls with lettuce wraps. Both dishes were really tasty and I liked that the spring rolls came with lettuce to wrap them in – it was unusual and added a nice crunchy texture. For our mains we had the vegan katsu curry and the pad Thai with vegan bites. I enjoyed both of them although the pad Thai was definitely the winner for me – it was bursting with flavour and just so delicious! My favourite out of everything we had though was the side – sweet corn fritter balls with sweet chilli dip. They were absolutely delicious!

Every time I come here I am somehow surprised with how incredibly tasty everything is! I am never disappointed when I eat here. The Pad Thai is a firm favourite! And the satay skewers are beautiful! I want to try the whole vegan range!

delicious vegan options - Edit
Some great food here for vegans. I had the peanut satay sticks for starters and sweet and sour vegan bites for mains, both were delicious and I would highly recommend. My partner had Thai Green Curry which she said was also very good. Service was very good, staff polite, and one young lady in particular was great at her job, smiling and friendly, just what you want when being served. It's not cheap, a 2 course meal will set you back around £20. The room was too cold, heating needs to be put on in January. But the fact that we enjoyed our food so much, with a great service, means we will be back next time we are in the area and I would recommend this place for any vegan who wants a tasty meal.

I went for an early dinner here! The staff were awesome the food even better! I had the vegan pad Thai and it was the best I’ve ever tried! Highly recommend this place

Visited Banana Tree out of curiosity some months back due to looking for more places with vegan/vegetarian options and was not disappointed.
Read moreTheir menu is about 40% vegan and most meat dishes have a vegan option and the portion sizes are huge. We try and visit at least once a month. The vegan satays are one of my absolute favourite things on the menu.
Pros: Lots of vegan options.
Cons: Expensive unless you use a TasteCard.
