Lovely vegan options - Edit
Banana tree doesn't have quite as many vegan options as it used to but it's still really good. Had bottomless brunch here twice and drinks, food and service were all spot on.

Sweet corn fritters were so yummy - Edit
I got the sweet and sour tofu and sweet corn fritters and they were so delicious. I would definitely order from here again in Bath just for those fritters 😋

Our new favourite restaurant! - Edit
The Banana Tree has quickly grown to be one of my favourite restaurants. They offer plenty of vegan options with great flavours and fair prices. Presentation of dishes are well thought and we love the interior design!
Read moreMy only negative comment is their hit and miss customer service - some staff are ever so friendly and attentive, others make little effort.
Pros: The flavourful dishes, The prices, The interior design

Bland vegan Thai food - Edit
Went for the pad Thai, with the vegan bites. It takes some major mistakes somewhere to make Thai food taste so bland. Expensive for the portion size. Had some grit in it too, so they probably need to wash their vegetables.

Tasty Pan-Asian food lots of options - Edit
Visited April ‘24. Another visit to Banana Tree (previously visited a London branch) and super impressed. The one in Bath is relatively new so it has a lovely warm, welcoming interior. The staff were super attentive and friendly and the vegan options are plentiful. This time I shared the Singapore laksa soup as a starter and had the tamarind spicy aubergine and tofu / teriyaki stir fry with vegan bites as mains and the soya noodles as a side. Delicious flavours, will definitely return.

Veganuary Takes On South-East Asia - Edit
A promise that over 40% of the menu is vegan and 2 for 1 cocktail is well met.
Read moreThe cocktail menu is entirely vegan. What a win hey?
Another bonus has to be the ease in which menu staples can be made vegan. Want that dish that the table over has ordered, without the animals? Sorted. Banana Tree can add soya to almost anything.
I ordered the strawberry daiquiri and the chicken satay skewers. Arrived super quickly and went down a treat.
Pros: 2 for 1 cocktails , Tasty food
Cons: Vegan options are pretty much all soya.
