Pitiful - Edit
Something must have changed since the previous good reviews...like maybe new ownership/management. This was the worse meal I've had in many, many years. It should not be listed as a vegetarian option. The service was nonexistent, poor language skills by the wait staff, (you don't know if a dish is made with chicken stock) and mediocre food.

Very good, tasty stuff - Edit
The flavors are just so good! Highly recommend this place for its unique spicy goodness. I love hunan style since it's a little spicier than regular Chinese food and this place delivers. Conveniently located and offering a range of vegan and vegetarian items, this place is on my short list of favorites. I really like the flavor of their faux beef, especially the peppered beef! Their faux fish is also fantastic! Closest thing to real fish I've ever tasted. I love their sizzling rice soup! Wow, so glad it's vegan!
Pros: Very tasty flavors, Good balance of salt, Affordable

Sichuan Chinese Vegetarian Restaurant - Edit
It's so hard to find a decent Chinese restaurant, even in the Bay area, much less a vegetarian restaurant. So when we found this restaurant because a co worker said that there was a vegetarian restaurant in downtown Millbrae, we were doubtful. But those doubts quickly erased after our first of many visits. The food is so good we eat there a few times a week. Their chef is skillful and specializes in northern, sichuan style food. The owner is a dimsum chef so their steamed (veggie, tofu) buns are to die for. For large groups they have set menus that are very reasonably priced. And if you are lucky enough to be around for lunch, their lunch specials are a steal. It's still a well kept secret as their signage isn't great so you may be the only customer. But don't fret their friendly staff will guide you through their extensive menu. But please don't go chow mien, fried rice route as this place is so much more than that. Try their dan-dan noodle or their zhajiang noodle instead. They don't use MSG in any dishes. Downtown Millbrae has FREE Parking. And if you fly out of SFO, consider going there for a meal beforehand or doing a pickup for your customized inflight meal.
Pros: excellent food, good value, friendly staff
Cons: quiet
