I’m literally in the middle of eating this right now and I had to come on and review asap! I took everyones advice and went with the smoked ciabatta and it’s delicious but the coffee? Absolutely unreal and amazing!! I like my coffees super sweet and the lovely lady accommodated my tastes and it’s truly the best ice latte i’ve ever had in my life. I’ll definitely be popping back. It’s super affordable too!

What a lovely little place! Loads of sandwiches to choose from and lots of vegan bakes as well. I had the scrambled tofu baguette and it was delicious! Amazing coffee as well. The lady who was working there was so lovely and kind. I'd highly recommend!

Went in for a coffee & was distracted by the pies. So I got a pie too. Then I got chatting to the owner about vegan food across Europe & he also offered me a taste of another pie and some raw vegan chocolate thing.

The most amazing Vegan Sandwiches & Pies ! - Edit
Anything you try in Bamboo Vegan will leave your mouth extra satisfied ! They have the most amazing sandwiches in Athens, super yummy pies, Mediterranean one is my favorite! While you can enjoy very tasty desserts, vegan “kormos” (cold dessert with chocolate and biscuits- Greek traditional fridge dessert) and of course the delicious cookies 🍪! Don’t miss their Friday night cocktail party, with special food/ cuisine of the day!

We came right at closing time but still got impeccable service - Edit
We arrived 2 min before closing time so the savoury goods had all sold out. My partner bought the filled choc chip cookie, but because I'm allergic to hazelnuts we decided to keep it at that. It looked incredible and my partner loved it! Because I couldn't share it with him, the super-friendly owner of the place gave me a small sweet to try out for free and he recommended some other places around the area too.

The new spot has no longer the variety of vegan packaged stuff to sale (so it's not a vegan mini market anymore but rather a place to pass by for coffee and a sandwich), but their pies and sandwiches are great!

They have just opened at their brand new location a week ago as shown on happy cow. The vibe is so lovely, and the sandwiches and pies are the best I’ve ever had. The flavours are so homely and aromatic it is just divine. The coffee is amazing! Could not recommend any more. And the prices are very affordable!

Well I've been shopping and eating here for 10 years now, and thought it's about time I wrote a review! The atmosphere at Bamboo Vegan is always warm and friendly and people are made to feel welcome. There is a wide choice of food and drink covering all bases (from junk food to salads). This is my go-to stop for a protein hit when in Athens - their delicious sandwiches also contain things like seitan and soy in addition to the usual salady ingredients we vegans might encounter when travelling. And they all taste damn awesome!!

This place was quick, tasty, and affordable. The staff were also very kind. There were a lot of options and a good vibe. More of a sandwich and coffee place, where the food is prepared already and in the cooler. Very tasty, a lot of alternatives are used.
