Delicious and healthy - Edit

The falafels are fresh and tasty. You can add coriander and spicy sauce if you like. The soft serve is delicious and you can add several toppings if you like. I don’t like the wooden spoons so bring your own if you prefer. I enjoy the cozy atmosphere and recommend it for a lazy afternoon.

Pros: Tasty, Nice atmosphere, Friendly staff

Cons: Wooden spoon for soft serve

Felafel with interesting mix of salad/veggies - Edit

Very interesting mix of salad and veggie items in the sandwich (fried mushrooms and eggplant). Taste was decent, although would have preferred a little more kick. Tomato soup complements the felafel well. Too expensive. Large size not large enough for ¥1200.

Pros: Interesting mix of veggies

Cons: Expensive

The falafel is really great, the best one i have found in tokyo !! prices are not too expensive and the vegan soft serve is very refreshing on a warm spring day. Definitely a good vegan spot in Tokyo worth going if you are in the neighbourhood.

Must visit in Tokyo! - Edit

Love this 100% vegan falafel & ice-cream!! Really delicious and looks so beautiful. These days they also serve yummy tomato soup. It takes only 5 minutes from Nakameguro Station, then you can find a lovely small falafel stand. Ballon serves really tasty falafel and vegan ice-cream made by soy milk and amazake(a sweet drink made from fermented rice). Stand is not so big, but really cozy and stylish! It worth to visit while you are in Tokyo!

one of my best meals in japan! - Edit

I had one of the best falafels ever here. I was raised a vegetarian in California so I've had my fill of falafels. Their wrap/pocket has a mix of healthy yet tasty veggies and lightly crisped falafels. The flavor comes together very well and it's easy to eat. Tomato soup is bomb as well.

incredibly good falafel - Edit

I’m a falafel addict. I never let a week go by without having some. And this falafel is the best I’ve ever had. The balls are packed with flavour, the bread is nice and airy but not too thick, and the fillings feel so healthy. Love this place.

AMAZING - Edit

Very cute and cosy falafel stand. Ice cream was great, not 100% what it's made of but it has a nutty aftertaste. Got a regular falafel, which was so good I had to fight the urge to get more and take them home with me.

Pros: reasonable pricing (before tax: 550 yen small, 880, very nice decor, does takeaway

Falafel of Ballon - Edit

Falafel of Ballon:

Near Tokyo Nakameguro station. There are tremendous variety choice of gourmets waiting to be explore. The Ballon just located opposite to the Kekobosakamachikado park where you could arrive by walking.

Having this wonderful feeling with curiosity. We order The Falafel made from fresh and organic vegetables sided with fruit fizzy bubble juice.

It slowly satisfied our expectation. The homemade Harrisa sauce combine with sesame sauce and chickpea ball was classic! Finished with an extra order of soy milk ice cream that ended our journey into Ballon.

Highly recommend and it is a five stars for Ballon and can’t wait to visit again!

Pros: Organic , Falafel, Ice cream

Cons: Tokyo, Nakameguro

THE BEST FALAFEL SANDWICH IN TOKYO - Edit

If you love falafel sandwich and live in Tokyo you would most likely say that Kuumba du Falafel in Shinsen is the best, but I like Ballon better. Ballon’s falafel sandwich is the bomb!!!
Each bite is loaded with flavor and texture and they make an excellent colorful sandwich. Unlike others, ballon's got creamy moist mash potatoes and roasted maitake mushroom inside instead of hummus. Different and creative. Tastes amazing and fills you up too. Cilantro topping is highly recommended! Last but no least their vegan ice cream is yummy as well.

Pros: Fresh organic vegetables, Uber Eats available , Vegan soy ice cream (gluten free option available)
