Tasty food & so many options! - Edit
It’s rare to come across niche cuisines that cater to vegans yet still manage to keep the authentic flavours of the dishes, but Balila does it all.
Read moreWhile the shop itself is unassuming and modest, the food here is some of the most satisfying I’ve had.
My favourite so far has been the Vegan Mashawi, I cannot fault it. Other things I enjoyed on the menu were the Vegan Lamb Shawarma & the Baba Ghanouj.
The food is delicious, generous with serving sizes and so filling that I usually forgo dinner after coming here for lunch.
It’s also conveniently located with Huntingdale Station being a minute’s walk away and plenty of on-street and station parking.
The only drawback is there is no music/TV/background noise when dining in so it can be awkwardly quiet at times.
Nevertheless, I’m so glad to have discovered this little spot and can’t wait to come back and try more of the vegan range soon!
Pros: Authentic flavours, Extensive vegan range, Large portion sizes
Cons: Limited seating , No ambience or music, Breakfast menu unavailable at times

Clearly labelled vegan food, ample parking and good portion sizes - Edit
Vegan and vegetarian food is very clearly labelled and there are many vegan or vegetarian options. There is ample parking at nearby Huntingdale train station. The serving sizes are fairly large.

Best Lebanese from beautiful owners - Edit
This is our favourite place anytime in the area. Such a big range of vegan dishes, and consistently delicious every single time.
Read moreMy favourite is their falafel wrap and husband loves their vegan shawarma.
And we could easily eat a bucket load of their baba ganoush it's that good!
I would rate 5 stars if I could.
The owners are also the most beautiful people you'll ever meet, so good to support a family run business.
Pros: Good price , Amazing friendly service, DELICIOUS FOOD
Cons: I don't live closer to it

It was busy but staff were friendly and helpful (it was our first visit) Lots of food and they were very vegan friendly. We also picked up delicious meals for non-vegan family members. Looking forward to our next visit.

Wow, Lebanese vegan food! - Edit
Was so excited to finally try some proper Lebanese vegan food! Glad I was able to convince my Omni/Pesci family members to come try it out with me, and they/we weren’t disappointed! My wife and I shared a main plate of the “Vegan Mashawe” and “Vegan Shawarma” with a side of “Vegan Kibbeh” (not yet on the menu). You can tell that the food is traditionally made with love. I’m just glad it was someone’s great idea in the business to decide to start offering vegan options. It’s a great place if you want to go with a mixed group of people who are meat eaters that don’t want to compromise on a full vegan menu. The food was fresh, it was hot, and we were well and truly satisfied with the food and the serving size by the end. I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking, but would highly recommend! Only thing to mention is that it’s a casual dining vibe and there’s only seating on the outside so might want to avoid if it’s a cold day/night, but I’m sure the delicious food will warm up your belly and subsequently your body. Anyways, I’ll stop here. Enjoy…and continue to support local businesses! 🤗

Amazing food with warm welcoming service! - Edit
Delicious food made with so much care. So many vegan options, we were spoilt for choice. The owners are so helpful and friendly. A great selection of sweets to top it off. Went with my family and my two kids declared it the best place ever (not having tried much Lebanese food at all). This is going to be a regular on our list for sure!

Excellent food and service - Edit
The vegan menu is extensive and still growing thanks to the owners son who is vegan. He was super nice to chat to and clearly passionate about the lifestyle, and the food we ordered (chicken and beef kebab) were amazing
