Amazing vegan “rijsttafel”!

Called ahead, 3 days before our dinner to ask for vegan dishes. They do vegan catering so a vegan menu was no problem at all. Dinner was amazing! Sticky tofu, grilled veggies, tofu in coconut sauce and lots of other vegan options. Loved it!

Paid my drink and left

I really love Indonesian cuisine because there are always tempeh and tofu. But after we ordered our drinks and looked at the menu there was no tempeh (first time I found an Indonesian restaurant without tempeh) and 2 tofu dishes with egg.

I asked the waitress and she confirmed and then I asked to pay my drink (for which I had to pay extra because we did not order any food).

Never again.

Cons: No tempeh, No vegan items

Fine for a change

Since most vegan options in Breda are fastfood, we were looking for something different. As mentioned in the review above, we went for the rice table but veganized (so leaving out the egg dishes en subsituting them for a double dish of something vegan that was already on the table).
The contents of the rice table didn't change since the last review, just the price (it was now €27).
The flavours were okay, much of the same, but still tasty. It was a very busy night so it was crowded inside and I felt a bit rushed.
All in all fine, but won't go again.

Pros: Nicely decorated, Good portions

Cons: Got an assembly line work feeling

Vegetarian ricetable can be made vegan - Indonesian

We asked for the vegetarian ricetable, and to have not any dishes with egg included (was no problem). The waitress said there were two dishes with egg. They were replaced by a double of other dishes that are already included in the ricetable.
That meant that there was less variety than other rictables that we have eaten at Indonesian restaurants.
Ricetable was 24pp (a bit on the expensive side)
Very quick service. Friendly.

Not accessible: one step to get in. Didn't see an accessible toilet.

So all in all: fair
