environmentally conscious (minus dairy!) - Edit

As a vegan I had the tropical fruit platter, a cucumber and mint soup which was very refreshing, a watermelon and lime juice and I treated myself with a dairy free coconut and lime popsicle. Everything was very good though the prices a little bit high for Balinese standards. But I payed the price gladly because they really make an effort to preserve the island from plastic trash: they have a no straw policy as well as a recycling program for plastic bottles. They encourage tourists in having a reusable steel bottle that you can refill for free.

Pros: no plastic policy, nice ambience , mostly organic ingredients

Cons: still using dairy, dairy = environmentally conscious ????, few vegan options

Nice message BUT - Edit

It is a nice place, great furniture and fast WIFI. We loved the message: bring empty plastic bottles in order to get 10% off your bill! The banana bread and date smoothie was really good as well as the vegan chocolate popsicle. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the main dishes. They taste good but: warm food is only served after 6pm and the portions in general are tiny but super expensive (50k IDR). It is mostly organic and from their own garden but still overpriced, as is the whole menu.

Pros: great message (no plastic, MSG, mostly organic)

Cons: very expensive, not the friendliest staff

looks cool - Edit

It's a cool place to sit, but not really worth it to go for food, not much to choose and very pricy.

Pros: cozy place

Cons: expensive, very limited options

Has soy milk! - Edit

I didn't eat here - I wasn't that impressed by the food options - but they make a delicious iced soy cappuccino!

Nett für einen kleinen Imbiss oder einen Kaffee - Edit

Hier gibt es zwar kein typisch indonesisches Essen und auch nur kleine Gerichte, aber alles ist sehr lecker, auch das Eis am Stiel. Gehobenes Preisniveau. Für gesammelte Plastikflaschen gibt es Rabatt. Wiederverwendbare Flaschen können gratis aufgefüllt werden.

Pros: Nettes Ambiente, Leckeres Essen und Getränke, Rabatt für gesammelte Plastikflaschen

Cons: Teuer

beware - Edit

we came here for their ice pops. in the front of the cooler it states something like "all organic * dairy free * gluten free * vegan" but if you another label on top of the cooler in much much smaller print, it states one of the ice pops contains dairy. this is awfully misleading. plus if you are truly eco, you should give up dairy.

Cons: incorrectly labelled vegan ice pops

BaliEcoDeli 04 Feb 2017 - Hi Sophie,

Thanks for your visit & taking the time to voice your opinion.

Our home-made ice pops are available in 6 different flavors :

* Dragon fruits + Pineapple
* Strawberries + Watermelon
* Pineapple + Orange + Ginger
* Lime + Coconut cream
* Brownies chuncks + Coconut cream
* Chocolate + Banana + Cacao nibs

We do not have different labels but only one 1 sqm sign which states clearly that the brownies ice pop is NOT dairy free as brownies are home-baked using mostly organic coconut oil but also some butter. We tried not using butter but only coconut oil ... customers prefer the version with (a bit) of butter ...

Here is exactly what is written on the 1 sqm sign :

All organic - Gluten Free - Dairy Free (*) - Vegan
(*) All pops except the brownie one are Dairy Free. We use Local Goodness as milk substitute.

The second lign is located just under the first one but written smaller as its text is longer but it is still quite visible as the poster is large and we do not try to hide it :)

I am sorry if you felt mislead by this sign. This is in no case our intention.

Again thank you for your feedback & sorry for not being able to reach your expectations.

healthy and vegan friendly - Edit

I went here a few times while being at nusa lembongan. The vegetarian salads are easy to veganize. (Just asked without feta) The salads were quite alright. Not as good as many vegan/vegetarian places in Bali. But far out the best options I found on nusa. The watermelon,lime, mint juice is amazing!
