Highly Disappointing - Edit
Having opted for here over my first choice due to the raves reviews it had received I was excited to try the fayre on offering.
Read moreHaving arrived I was taken through to my seat and given a menu. Having perused the dishes, my anticipation for the meal I was about to consume was at fever pitch, then the waiting started. I was was sat for a good five minutes with no communication with the staff. Finally, I was approached only to be informed that due to the kitchen being busy I would have to wait an hour if I wanted any food. To say I was I perturbed would be an understatement. The restaurant wasn’t even at capacity and I couldn’t understand why I had been seated and presented with a menu of this was the case. There was even the offer of any smaller bites to tide me over in the meantime, the option was leave and come back or just leave. I did the latter.

I was visiting Bratislava for a day and I wish this place was at my town. The food was unbelievably good and the service was incredible. If you have the chance, go try the green burger with some lemonade.

Good taste - be carwful with "specials" - Edit
I went there because of a recommendation from another restaurant - they said "this is the best". The options are amazing but do not expect a healthy meal there (which is totally fine!). I actually wanted to try the traditional Slovakiam dumings - be aware that the specials (right-hand side of the menu) are only served after 2pm. This was a bit disappointing as this was the side with the most interesting options in my opinion. Had the Cubam Sandwich instead which was very satisfying as well.

We went for an early lunch and ordered the special of the day: a Slovak dish of mini gnocchi in a creamy sauce topped with smoked tofu, and a Cuban sandwich with seitan, cheese, and pickles. Both were very tasty. The menu has a little influence from around the world. Other than some traditional Slovak dishes, there are American, Mexican, Korean, and Thai influences too. I really appreciate that.
Read moreThe passion fruit gluten-free cheesecake was perfect: a yummy biscuit crust and a cream that wasn't overly sweet and like a baked cheesecake. Note that after 2pm the full menu is available, although the half menu still has plenty of options.
It was very busy when we arrived but we didn't have to wait long. The service was very friendly and quick too. I like the ambience of the restaurant. Looking forward to returning for dinner!

Absolutely perfect and delicious food. We had the dumplings, the Cuban sandwich and their cinnamon bun dessert, and it was probably the best food I've ever eaten. I live in Sweden so I've eaten my fair share of amazing cinnamon buns, but these were something else. Delicious and homemade. The staff speaks English and they have an English menu. They are super nice, too.

Amazing Cubano - Edit
Was hungry and a little hungover, the cubano sorted me right out. Bread wasn’t too heavy, sauce was delicious, faux meats not too stodgy. Non-vegan bf enjoyed his burrito. Shame we couldn’t try some dishes as it was before 2pm!
