Delicious food and nice atmosphere. - Edit
A lot of foodies to choose from. We ate a beetroot burger and wrap. Nice food, especially the sauces were very good. Pop music playing in the background and a selection of board games to play with.

Amazing Burgers - Edit
Today we visited Balans Bistro and we found delicious vegan burgers. Both the Mexican and the Balans Burger were amazing. The mexican burger was for sure the best burger I ever had!

I loved Balans Bistro! It was very easy to find and their food is delicious :) I love how they serve burgers, enchiladas but also traditional slovak food in a vegan version, because that is what you should always go for when travelling

Saw all of the reviews and made sure to visit. I ordered the Green Burger while my girlfriend ordered the soup and meal of the day.
Read moreThe burger was quite tasty, however the soup was just bland vegetables in an oily broth, with little to no taste. The meal of the day was ok, but also a little bland.
The service was also quite strange. The soup arrived instantly, and my burger about 10 minutes later. We assumed they forgot about the meal of the day for my girlfriend, seeing as they served everyone else in the restraunt before us, and as we where getting ready to leave they placed it on the table.
Overall I would probably give this place a miss.

Top vegan place in Bratislava! - Edit
Very very tasty burgers, different specials (hot dogs, local dishes, exotic dishes etc.), simple and good lunch menus and it's open every day! Additionaly there's a wide variety of craft soft drinks and some craft beer as well as a small choice of sweets and pancakes. My absolutely favourite place to go in Bratislava.

Among other things, they make veganized local dishes; the specials change weekly or every couple of days, I had a cheese croquette with potato salad: it was amazing. I went back the following day and ordered exactly the same!

Balans Bistro is a small place with a slightly alternative/indie vibe. I had a smoothie and a burrito, both of which was really good - in particular the sauce that came with the burrito. Recommended.

I've visited this place with a non-vegan friend of mine who's getting into vegan burgers, kinda. Wonderful, I'm quite sure the burgers served there do not do a disservice to the 'picture of vegan-compatible food' as a whole. The prices are quite alright for the exceptional quality. Just consider: you'll pay 3 Euros more for the equivalent in the center of Vienna. So I wish them the very best, hope they don't close anytime soon.

Really nice Bistro. We ate the menu and Palatschinken (pancakes) and both was really awesome. Especially the entrance soup was really awesome!

I went here for Friday lunch with my boyfriend and we had two burger meals with fries. Both meals were excellent, delicious homemade vegan burgers and a side of fries and mayonnaise dip. Huge pots of tea as well. A small, friendly place with a nice atmosphere and very good, friendly service. Reasonable prices for fresh, kitchen cooked food. Will definitely go again if we can while in Bratislava.
