Great Vibes and Hearty Salads - Edit
The space is so lovely to gather in. We loved the caesar salad and the smoked tofu salad with grains. Portions were large but nutrionally balanced. The smoked tofu was so yummy! Chocolate mousse for dessert was the cherry on top!

Fast alles auf der Karte war vegan bzw. Alles konnte vegan gemacht werden. Preise waren in Ordnung und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Wir hatten einen Burger und Quessedilas und als desert einen brownie.

Lekkere vega gerechten; ontbijt, lunch en pre diner in een rustige woonwijk gelegen. Ik at de brunch set bestaande uit een yoghurtje, pancakes en een avocado toast geserveerd met een sapje en espresso voor €17. Yummy!

Vegetariano con muchas opciones veganas. El problema es que no había muchas cosas cuando llegamos y luego tardaron muchísimo en servirlo ya que sólo tienen a una camarera para todo el restaurante y eso que tampoco había mucha gente. Una pena porque el sitio es bonito. Pedimos un bowl que era grande pero muy soso y al parecer se le había acabado la salsa que llevaba y la hamburguesa se deshacía el pan.

Set in a multi-tenanted community feel building Balance Cafe commands the top floor. The rear of the building appears to be connected to a residential development and set level with the first floor position of Balance.
Read moreThe entrance foyer is interesting and music eminates from one tenant on the ground floor. There is an interesting musical instrument casual sculpture on the left hand as you enter the building.
Some Art pieces adorn the walls and this increases as one walks up the stairs to arrive in Balance. The large spaces are conducive to hanging/showing Art.
We we greeted in a really friendly way by the Lisbon born manager and proceeded to the front circular terrace (there are two to choose from)
We studied the menu and chose the set brunch menu (see pictures) this was ok but portions were too small and I will not choose this option next time.
They have put the prices up since the refurb but the effort they have put in to the place and the attention to detail and the creative exploitation of this municipal feeling building on a limited budget is well worth our support.
They would get 5 stars if they were fully vegan.

From the weekly special to several yummy a-la-carte dishes, the Balance Café is a great way to eat healthy in a friendly and tranquil environment. We try to get there about once a week for their daily specials. Always amazing and it's like coming home to a home cooked meal.

We had a very pleasant meal in the outside area of this restaurant. The area is really calm and the place has been recently renewed. The staff is very nice. As for the menu, there are soups, wraps, bowls, burgers and quesadillas. During weekdays there is the dish of the day. What makes this restaurant not fully vegan is the use of animal cheese in a few dishes and also a couple of desserts (it would be very easy and, I believe , not impactful if they turned fully vegan). We had a burger and a bowl, both very tasty and complete. The orange, carrot and ginger juice could be better. For dessert we shared a chocolate mousse that was ok. The prices are similar to Lisbon's, so don't expect a super cheap meal.

Peaceful Vibes - Edit
This lovely cafe gives off peaceful and calming energy. Their offerings of food and drinks are thoughtfully and beautifully prepared. The staff are lovely too. It really worth a visit. We will definitely be back several more times before we leave Portimao. It's a wonderful oasis!

Very light and plenty of space in this calm, beautiful place that is also a cultural spot and houses workshops and massage therapists and such. With parking and a small cute balcony as well. The food is super delicious, we had the weekly special, but will come back for more! Friendly and quick service, highly recommended!

I really loved my avocado toast with mushrooms. I was a breakfast option, but i had it as lunch. The price (€5) was very reasonable, but the portion small.

Not too many options, but good food.
We sadly had the place to ourselves.
Too bad they use fake plants as decoration.
We sat inside, because the small wooden chairs at the terrace didn't look too comfortable for a pregnant lady.

I had the falafel wrap and it came with baked potatoes. The potatoes and vegan mayo were great, but the falafel wrap lacked a bit of flavour. I came a few times and the quesadillas were very healthy And delicious. The highlight: oreo Mousse 🤩

Super leckerer veganer Kuchen ohne Zucker - Edit
Großes,helles und süß eingerichtetes Bistro in einem Gebäudekomplex mit Tanzstudio etwas außerhalb der City von Portimão. Wir kamen 20 Minuten vor Schließung an und ich schnappte mir das letzte Stück von dem veganen Ananas-Kokos-Kuchen ohne Zucker. Sehr lecker! Mein Mann gönnte sich den etwas herberen Schokokuchen mit Himbeere, ebenfalls ohne Zucker, der ihm auch sehr gut schmeckte.

This is a restaurant in a quiet residential area of Portimao, not so central, but I can assure it worth it! The food is amazing, the ambience is beautiful, good music and the staff is very friendly. Everyday they have a “dish of the day” that all the times I went there it was so tastefull and so well cooked that I always come back!
