Definitely worth to make a quick detour - Edit
Bakgården vegan pizzasare just lovely. It's great to see more places having the "Bianco and Rosso" categories. The dough is think like that say pizzas in Naples are made of. I missed the film quiz, but there was an art exhibition. I believe that the place is packed summer times.
Read moreBakgården levererar! Kul med ett ställe i gamla tegelhus. Konceptet är enkelt, goda veganpizzor från grunden. Här slipper man de vanliga veganiserade pizzorna med vidrig veganost. Det är inte alls långt från stan. Bara 7 min från Stortorget med buss och en kort promenad. Den plantbaserade kosten expanderar i hela Sverige. Så trevligt.

It's a bit away but super cozy and worth the walk from the city centre! It feels like you are in someones home!
Read moreA lot of people on a Saturday night so make sure to book a table if you are going there during busy hours!
The cheese is made of cashwenut so if you are allergic be aware!

Nice pizzas. We had the Fresh Prince and the Oh Yeah and desserted with the cinnamon one. I enjoyed all of them, and I would recommend saving some room for a dessert pizza when you are there. They are the most original and surprising ones. The idea may sound absurd but the flavours of the salty crust with the sweet toppings work wonderfully well!

Det var en väldigt mysig plats som välkomnade oss och personalen var tillmötesgående och svarade hjälpsamt på frågor som vi hade. Det var enbart veganska pizzor på menyn så man kunde välja fritt bland de olika pizzorna utan att behöva tänka sig för. Jag beslutade mig för en Stefan Special och den var fantastiskt god. En frisk komposition med väl utvalda ingredienser som fungerade så bra tillsammans. De hade även ett tilltalande utbud av öl, däribland öl från ett lokalt bryggeri. Bakgården rekommenderas starkt till alla som älskar god pizza och en gemytlig plats att äta pizzan på. Som en liten minisemester.

Jersey girl reporting here 🍕 My partner and I went here for lunch yesterday. We each got our own pie and a beer. I had the Maggie Rita and he had the Stephan Special. Both pizzas were so good!! Nice consistency to the dough and crust, even toppings and good sauce. Cooked perfectly! I would have been happy to order another haha it’s so nice to have a vegan pizzeria here in Karlstad, and not just that, but a DELICIOUS one! I can’t wait to go back!

Pizzeria auch mit ungewöhnlichen Zutaten. Je nach Jahreszeit (als ich da war) zum Beispiel mit flockenstieligen Hexenröhrling oder Totentrompeten.

Everything was just perfection: taste, price, atmosphere, staff and hole the experience! You can tell that these pizzas is made with the finest ingredients and by a remarkable finesse with great passion. Superfun with mushroom-nerds and dogs are welcomed as well. Absolutely worth the visit. Recommend recommend!!!

you neeed to visit this lovely place! the prices are steep, but normal for Sweden. This was by far the most exquisit vegan pizza I have ever tried! We had two options and both were incredibly yummy. The seating is so cozy, especially outside in the summer months! ♡
