Delicious cake - Edit
I visited this place twice during my stay in Kiel. Both times had the vegan banana bread with peanut butter. It was delicious. They also had a homemade lemonade with lavender and orange that was incredible and the staff was super nice.

We wanted to have some breakfast in this small gem but for now they only serve cakes, bread and rolls. The friendly and helpful barista told us they have a new bistro and a small Restaurant where they serve brunch and different types of food. He gave us the adress.

Das Bakeliet ist ein uriges und ausgefallenes Café. Sowohl Kaffee als auch Frühstück sind abwechslungsreich und überragend lecker. Leider ist es sehr teuer dort zu schlemmen. Manchmal strömt der Geruch von frischem gebratenen Speck aus der Küche in den Essensraum was für mich als Veganerin als sehr abstoßend empfunden wurde aber damit geht jeder anders um. Ein Besuch lohnt sich trotzdem!

Ein auf alt gemachtes Ambiente, alte Stühle & Tische, die Teller & Tassen sind zusammengewürfelt. Es gibt eine große vegane und vegetarische Auswahl, Fleischiges wird aber auch zubereitet. Besonders das Brunchangebot finde ich empfehlenswert, ebenfalls die Kuchen, die z.T. vegan und/oder glutenfrei sind. Das Angebot an Pflanzenmilch ist groß (Aufpreis) und der Kaffee wird selbst geröstet und ist in verschiedenen Varianten (tolle Beratung) zu haben.

Cozy cafe with many vegan options - Edit
The cafe is small, cozy and a bit dark inside, which makes it perfect for a nice fall and winter coffee break! :) They have soy or oat milk for all their drinks and a selection of vegan cakes as well. Great coffee!!
