Many vegan options

They have delicious vegan pastries, their hot-dogs are very nice and a good size. We haven’t tried their pizzas, but they do have vegan pizza options as well. Reasonable prices, quick and nice service. They have oat milk for their coffees, I bought a flat white for £2.50 and it was very nice. It came in a recyclable paper cup.

Pros: A decent amount of vegan options, Reasonable prices, Kind service

Cons: Not fully vegan place

Tasty Hotdogs

Happened by Bakehaus whilst in town for a gig, noticed they serve Vegan Hotdogs which although they charge an extra 50p for are very tasty and presented in what I can best describe as a piece of baguette. I also tried the vegan pastry swirls also lovely and noticed they offer s vegan burger. Great find would visit again

Pros: Hotdogs, Burgers, Pastrys

Amazing borek!

The spinach borek is worth every penny. I normally buy a few extra to freeze for later! Now the potato one is also vegan! Great to see more and more vegan options.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Somewhere to sit and eat comfortably

Cheap and tasty

I love the vegan spinach boreks this place does but they had run out. No matter! They now do vegan burgers and currywurst. I had the burger - pretty tasty although the patty wasn't crispy as advertised. However, the bun had a nice crunch, the patty was good and the extras (lettuce, onion, tomato, ketchup) were lovely too. And only £5! You could spend double that for an equally good burger in many places.

Pros: cheap, quick, tasty and growing number of options

cheap and good

Tried the spinach börek (I took two because they were delicious). I have seen on the window that they have recently added vegan wurst too! Need to go back and taste 😋
I wish there were vegan cakes too but last time I went there was nothing sweet

Pros: cheap , warm fresh food, tasty

Cons: not many vegan options

Go for the vegan borek

It was hot, flaky, jammed full of spinach and covered in sesame seeds. Amazing! Not much else apart from the German breads are vegan but getting hot, flaky pastry is such a vegan treat that it’s worth the visit. On 2.75 pounds.

Pros: Hot Borek, cheap

Cons: Little else vegan but regular breads
