limited vegan - Edit
Has limited vegan items. The owner was very nice but the staff left us cold...we got take out and there was a big misunderstanding...the wait staff said she told us twice our food was ready to go....we sat there for half an hour and kept waiting..we felt really ignored...maybe because we were taking up a table to wait for our food? beyond that food was good...I had the Moroccan stew and added some millet to it. They do have some vegan desserts. I suggest the pumpkin bread...yummie.
Read moreWe are grateful for any restaurant that attempts to be more plant based since in a area like New Glascow plant based food is very limited. We do wish them all the best and hope they get a few more vegan dishes on board.

Perfect little spot - Edit
An unassuming storefront on an anonymous block of New Glascow, this restaurant serves up excellent food and is worth a detour off the Trans-Canada highway for some great vegan food. The burgers and side dishes are interesting, as are the excellent spreads (mint-lentil, anyone?). Plus there is a great variety of vegan baked goods, all at a reasonable price. And there commitment to eco-friendliness is clear in the bathrooms, stocked with giant baskets of washcloths to use as handtowels rather than wasting paper.
