Serves Guyanese cuisine. Vegan options have been created over generations within the family. Offers 'bake', 'chana aloo', 'Jai's Dahl,' 'Bibi's famous vegetable chow mein' (the most popular menu item), 'bake bombs' and 'bake with jam' are desserts (vegans request it be made vegan). Reopened April 2021. Open Mon 11:30am-7:00pm, Wed-Sun 11:30am-7:00pm. Closed Tue, Sun.

The owner of this food truck knows what they're doing. I was checking out the Little America, and I was enticed by a sample of daal and fry bread. Their food is really similar to other flavors I've had before, but they're just a little different (and dare I say more delicious?)
Read moreI tried their Chana fry bread, daal, and chow mein with some friends. The fry bread is the star of the show- so if you're getting anything, definitely get that. It's similar to a very savory donut
Also, this is the only place to get Guyanese food in N&S America west of New York!! Go try it

The food truck is at the hawthorne asylum food pod. It has multiple vegan options including the bake and the daal. They were delicious. The hawthorne asylum has many food carts with vegan options so it is definitely worth the trip!
