Sorry, but this buffet was awful

These were the tasteless fruits I've ever tried. Variety is just like 5 or 6 fruits. All of them bland.

If you're vegan that's probably all you'll have because the other things they were offering when we went (pad thai, cakes and soup) had eggs, dairy and chicken in it.

This would have been OK if at least the atmosphere of the store was nice, but it was an ugly room with ugly white lighting, and not view whatsoever of the outside.

This aggravated by the fact the price is 550 baht. What a waste!

Pros: You can use the ticket to go up to the observatory

Cons: Fruits were super-low quality, Ugly place, Almost no vegan options

Interesting experience

Nice to tryout different fruits if you do not know them. Difficult to find out which cooked foods or desserts are vegan though, due to the lack of english speaking staff.
You get only 1 piece of durian if you chose the 550Baht pass. For 850baht you get unlimited durian, but only in durian season. It is nice to checkout the highest floor of the tower (highest in Bangkok!), the entry to that is included in the fru it buffet pass.

For some reason you get unlimited amount of super sugary sodas but water costs extra…. Weird ;P

Pros: Tryout plenty different foods, Worth the price, Explore highest building in Bangkok

Cons: Water not included, A bit cold , Difficult to find out what is vegan

👍🏻

Overall quite good. None of the curries are vegetarian/vegan and pad thai is not vegan. The price is for two hours, includes a ticket for the observation deck. You fill up baskets with whatever fruit you want, hand it over, and they cut it up and bring it out on a plate to you. Not a durian fan at ALL but the grilled durian was actually really good. 490B pax

Delicious but kinda pricey fruit buffet

We stayed a few nights at this hotel and were delighted to see a fruit buffet available. Huge range and variety of fresh thai fruits including durian! It's open from 10am-9pm, yet there are times seating blocks of 1.5hr. For example we got there at 11:15 and our timed block was from 10:30-12, so we only really had 45mins. Everything was great, many things were overly sweet though, even for a sweetaholic like me! Was it worth it for $16 (390thb) though ...

Pros: Great variety, opportunity to try lots of different tropical frui, delicious fresh fruit

Cons: 1.5 hour timed seating, expensive for what it is , not everything in the buffet is vegan

Try new fruits

Got to try lots of fruits I'd never had including my first durian. As a vegan, I ate mostly fresh fruit, candied fruit, and sticky rice. I saw dried shrimp being served as a topping for a fruit salad so the buffet is not entirely vegetarian.

Amazing idea!

I had never heard of a fruit buffet before this place! Amazing idea, kind staff, massive range of options!! Wasnt very busy while I was there which is a plus and 1.5 hours is more than enough time to get your feel. Great view too!!

Pros: Great range, Great view, All you can eat!

Cons: Can get busy, Not labelled very well, Limited time

Finally a buffet that a vegan wants to go to

How can you not be enticed by a fruit buffet? It's not just fresh fruit (including durian), but also stewed fruit, cakes, sorbet, fruit in jelly, mango sticky rice, steamed fruit, fruit drinks, fruit served in a variety of unhealthy ways - there was plenty to eat. Good way to try the local fruits if you haven't already. I didn't think I would eat much at a fruit buffet but I came away stuffed full. Not all vegan so check before helping yourself. Includes ticket to top of the tower.

Pros: Huge variety, Try local fruits

Cons: Not all vegan
