Love it! - Edit
Food is very flavorful and there was more vegan options than expected! If you do the self-order on the iPad, you’ll see that most of the dishes can actually be modified to be vegan. I tried the drunken udon with mock duck. Probably best thai food I’ve had in SLO

Surprising find! - Edit
The first time I visited the SLO Public Market I remember glancing at their menu and saw nothing obviously vegan friendly. Since then they seem to have expanded their vegan offerings, and are very vegan friendly if you ask them!
Read moreWe were able to order vegan duck fried rice! I had no idea that was a thing. I’ve never had duck in my life, so I can’t say how similar to the real thing it would be, but it was very delicious! The dish was flavorful, and had lots of “meat” and veggies. I would absolutely order it again, and I can’t wait to try more on their menu. 😋
Pros: Friendly staff, Willing to veganize most dishes, Yummy duck fried rice!
Cons: A lot of meat on the menu, Smallish menu for a Thai place
