Rarity in a village area - Edit
The Bahnhofsstube is a family-run restaurant in a small Brandenburger village 20 km from Berlin. Everybody, who knows rural areas, knows, that they are a gastronomical desert for vegans. Even the supermarket chains changed their product lines extra for a rural customership. But I found this one restaurant which offers at least one vegan meal: tofu slices with broccoli and rice for 8 Euro. The family running the restaurant is really happy with the durability and ease to prepare tofu slices, but as they are ordered on such a rare basis, they are considering to cancel it from the list. So order it, guys :) Apart from that, you will definitely not find another restaurant in the commuter belts around Berlin, which offers a vegan meal. The restaurant is surrounded by woods and fields and the one or other place to go geocaching in.
Pros: a vegan meal, family-run, friendly business, nice surroundings (wood, cornfields)
Cons: only one vegan meal
