Favorite lunch place in Leiden - Edit
I love Bagels and Beans. They have many tasty vegan options which are clearly indicated on the menu. The place is quite cosy and they have a very good price/quality ratio. I highly recommended if you want a quick non-expensive lunch.

Nice place to get a cake and maybe have a breakfast - Edit
We went there in the afternoon and fled there from the rain. We were positively surprised by the vegan options and all had different drinks and cakes. All of them were tasty and we really enjoyed our stay. Liked the venue as well, it feels really cozy and charming.

Perfect for a quick lunch - Edit
I ordered a bagel with a meatless burger which was delicious. Staff was very friendly. They brought me a list where all the ingredients of the food were listed.

Love this place - Edit
I've been coming here for over 10 years and the food and atmosphere is always great and the staff is friendly. As of January 2019 they have a new menu. Vegan options include a hamburger, hummus, cream cheese, jam, peanut butter, pecan pie and more. The Matcha Latte is my all time favourite and I can recommend the pink ginger drink too. They also serve cheese, meat and fish and try to be sustainable and you can read all about it in their menu.
Read morePros: Friendly staff , Seating downstairs and upstairs, Glutenfree and low gluten bagels
Cons: Wish they offered vegan salads, No plant-based yoghurt

Dutch Weed burger rocks! - Edit
Bagels and beans have always been my favorite.
Read moreI used to love my bagel with cream cheese. But I said goodbye to that when I went vegan. And never went back to Bagels and Beans. Until I heard about the Ducth weed burger. A weed burger on a bagel, totally vegan. I had one today and I was mindblown. It's amazing! The taste reminds me a bit of a tuna burger, but it's more meaty than a fish burger or a veggie burger. There lot's of lettuce on it and a soft creamy (vegan) dressing. Def going to have that again!
Pros: Quick service., Nice staff
Cons: Small venue, BIt messy sometimes

Vegan bagel prices range from 3,75 to 5,25, vegetarean up to 6,25 (with lots of cheese).
Pros: very cozy, in the city centre, tasty bagels and delicious fillings
