Delicious

They have 3 or 4 different vegan cream cheeses. Had the chive one and it was amazing! They also have a vegan yogurt and a ton of other veggie/vegan options.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Friendly staff

Used to come here a loooot. The friendly staff still recognizes me and knows my standard order. I really like the matcha latte.
The bagels are good and there are a lot of vegan options.

Cons: Expensive

very very meh.

Eh for someplace that specialises in bagels they really don’t serve good bagels. Really blah.

Bagels with Canal Views

Really nice branch of Bagels and Beans on the way out of the city centre from Rozengracht. Found it by chance whilst looking for Meatless District just a couple of blocks away. The vegan labeling could be better here, you've got to be 100% sure what you are ordering including condiments are vegan. Unfortunately they didn't have the vegan weed burger even though it was advertised so a couple of delicious soya matcha lattes were the order of the day. They do make a fantastic, sweet matcha latte here and also at other B&B's around the city.

Pros: great bagels, friendly

Cons: vegan labeling, meat served

In Love

I fell in love with this place whilst in Amsterdam, I went here many, many times. All their bagels are vegan and so delicious. I'm vegan therefore my favourite toppings were avocado, tomato, lettuce and hummus and for my sweet tooth, banana, maple and cinnamon! The lady was lovely is helping me out and they have table service too which is always great :)

Dependable

Came here after not going to a Bagels and Beans for a few months and found that they've added some flavours of bagel - I tried the carrot, made with carrot juice instead of water, which was gorgeous with hummous. How it works is that you choose the bagel from seven options, including plain, raisin, spelt etc, then choose the filling, and all of the breads are vegan (some bagel places use milk in theirs). It's fairly good value too at 3,95 for a hummous bagel. The choice of tea has also increased recently and I enjoyed having pomegranate for the first time, but what annoyed me a bit is that there is no vegan yoghurt, because the fruit and nut combinations of yoghurt sounded good...it's a shame there are not more non-dairy items in general as much of the menu centres around cream cheese, but they do have imitation chicken for those who like this style. This is not the best option for vegans in Amsterdam, but it's good for a quick bite, take-away or even delivery, and a reliable and easy choice given the number of venues around the city.

Pros: dependable, inexpensive

Cons: not fully veg

great bagel sandwiches

We ate here several times for breakfast and lunch. There are several bagel filling options including hummus with sundried tomatoes and arugula, avocado, and banana slices with maple syrup. The food was tasty and priced well.

Pros: takeaway option, good service, vegan options
