Since 1988! They’ve been around longer than the band! - Edit
I usually avoid bagel shops that don’t serve vegan schmear, but there’s been so much talk about who makes the best bagels in Seattle, I got fomo + talked my partner into buying a tub of Violife + getting an everything bagel from 3 diff spots. I was a teeny bit surprised this was our fave of the 3. It’s lighter on the seasoning + there’s no salt in the mix, but the textures were on point. Deducting a star bc the only vegan spreads they offer are peanut butter + jelly. Insulting.

Good bagels but no vegan shmear - Edit
We picked up some bagels and bialys to go since they don’t have vegan shmear here. Bialys are not that common here so I was excited to try them. So far we’ve tried the Bialy, Everything and Garlic bagels. The dough is pretty good but the toppings are a bit sparse. We liked the garlic the best. I recommend this place if you’re in the area and looking for some bagels to take home. Hopefully if they get enough vegans they’ll add some vegan shmear to the menu.
