Separate Plant Based Menu - Edit
This is primarily a brewery so the food menu is not extensive. But they have a separate plant based menu and vegan mozzarella for their pizza. I had lomo saltado which was thin sliced sriram steak onions and peppers served over fries. The sriram steak was great. I also had a vegan version of fries and gravy with cheese curds. Very good especially the vegan curds. No dessert though! Great effort to provide a plant based menu though. All ordering is on the phone but staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

Bagby has possibly the best beer selection in downtown Oceanside and offers very tasty food options for vegans as well as omnivores. The creamy garlicky pasta with the vegan sausage and artichokes is the BEST even though it is pretty pricey- worth it! The mac & cheese is good but second to that pasta. The Vegan appetizers are tasty but small (like vegan corn dogs and some sort of artichoke cake). The vegan pizza is also very tasty. They have a great patio on the roof and this is a fun place to come on a date or with a large group. People watching is usually pretty good here. My omnivore friends love it too.

Love Bagby - A Local Favorite!! - Edit
It’s a blessing and a curse living right up the street from Bagby... I absolutely love this place! I’ve tried so many of their vegan items including the corn dogs (holy yum!! Loved by meat lovers too), anything’s possible burger (also holy yum), mac n cheese, grilled cheese, brownie with ice cream. I’m always impressed by Bagby. Additionally, the staff are always very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I can’t recommend this place enough! I wish I could give it 5 stars.

Decent vegan pizza with cheese but way too salty, good fries (only ketchup dip is vegan), chips and salsa was good as well (big portions). I don’t recommend their natural sodas, they are all the way from Australia and are way too sweet.

Great vegan selection. I had the corn dogs for appetizer and the cavatelli for my meal. Wow! Servers are knowledgeable and easy to talk with about vegan anything. Great beer and wine selection too.

We walked from the pier for lunch and were not disappointed! Our daughter is vegan and we wanted a restaurant that would include all of our family. My non-vegan son ordered the "Optimist" vegan pizza, cheese was different but it didn't stop him! The crust was perfect!! Great atmosphere and service.

This place has it all. The beer is always cold and flavorful. The beer that is produced on site does not use gelatin to clarify it, so it can be vegan. The menu has many bean options from pizza to burgers to corn dogs to cauliflower tacos. Vegan bar food that is done well and several items that are gf as well. It is one of the places that we visit often and I have tried it all. The owners Jeff and Dandee are lovely and care about this place deeply which is evident.
