Cool location, delicious tapas

What a big and cool location, inside with super many tables in different areas and outside with the beautiful terrace under trees. The vegan dishes are clearly marked on the menu which comes along with different small dishes called "bagatelles". The service was very attentive, even when it got stressful.

We enjoyed the bread with the tomato salsa and olives beforehand and all dishes we ordered were delicious. I really liked the tartare with artichoke and potato, which I haven't had anywhere else.

Under palm trees

A huge restaurant with a nice outdoor space. They have many vegan options and it is really delicious.
Good place when you are a mixed group with non vegans.

Pros: Many vegan options, Nice place

Cons: Staff, The beverages are not very good

Relaxed place with tasty, but expensive food

Update 05/23: They're now offering the traditional small snacks (as in other Bagatelle branches) to order with a small card. Still some tasty and clearly labeled choices. Also new is the truck for fries and Currywurst. Also vegan options, including Currywurst and Mayonnaise.



Bagatelle is famous in Cologne and luckily they opened another location in Mülheim, since there are not many places around. Sadly they closed the Veggie Bagatelle in Ehrenfeld and opened a non-veggie Bagatelle, but still there are some clearly labeled choices for vegans on the menu. (Chili avec Tofu, eggplant Bolognese with Spätzle, sweet potato Fries with vegan aioli, ... you can look it up on their website)

Overall I liked it. Good place to eat tasty food in relaxed atmosphere and drink some beers afterwards. I took the eggplant Bolognese with Spätzle and enjoyed it, even though I thought that the size of my meal was very small for 15€.

Overall I'd come again. Take care, due to events this place is closed on Saturday.
