Get the Beyond Backcountry :) - Edit
The vegan sauce is amazing, so order extra for your fries (fries sold separately). I got two sauces - one for the fries and one for burger dipping. The house made vegan bun is equally delicious. Add a local brew and you’re all set!

Decent Beyond Burger with sauce - Edit
Bozeman doesn't have a lot of options, but this clearly labeled beyond burger with vegan cheese and sauce hit the spot. Not the best burger I've ever had, but good nonetheless. They also have a Caesar salad on the menu that can be made vegan.

The Beyond Backcountry Burger was delicious. It was nice to be able to order a fully vegan entre without having to ask for special substitutions. Vegan cheese substitute is not my favorite but was fine on this burger. Service was very quick and friendly. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Price was extremely fair.

We arrived at 9:02 after driving all day tired, hungry but excited to have some food. Hours on the door said Saturday open til 10pm. We were semi rudely told that they were closed. Wendy’s fries it is then. Apparently they close at 9 now?

The Beyond Backcountry Burger, fries, and gojuchang Brussels sprouts are very good choices if you’re in Bozeman and are in need of some tasty comfort food. Also had kombucha and n/a beer. Everything is a la carte (meaning the burger does not come with fries). Nice, relaxed environment.

The Backcountry Burger Bar offers a solid vegan burger, but I could have easily duplicated this at home for half the cost. Personally, if I’m going to go out and spend a decent amount of money on a burger, I’d love some more interesting toppings to choose from.

Vegan options include: Beyond Backountry Burger, you can also modify this. (Avocado is only $1!), gochujang brussels sprouts, Vegan Kale Cesar Salad, the Best French fries with vegan bc sauce, Any of the salads can be modified to be made vegan as well. Sometimes they have a vegan soup special.

I tried this place based on the reviews here, and it left me wanting more. I had the Brussels sprouts, which were actually pretty good. Fried with a nice gochujang flavor. The beyond backcountry burger was ok at best. I’ve come to the opinion that restaurants shouldn’t receive praise just because they have a beyond burger on their menu, especially if it’s along side beef, bison, and elk burgers. I know how to cook those at home, so it does not appeal to me as vegan progression to see Beyond on the menu. The backcountry sauce that I got with the fries was ok as well, nothing really to write home about. Extending beyond the food, the place did not have an atmosphere that felt very welcoming, and would probably be better enjoyed with the company of friends, given by the number of booths they have.

Although there was a long wait, it was worth it! The beer was great and the staff were really friendly and kind. I had the beyond backcountry burger with vegan sauce and it was delicious!!! French fries and Brussels sprouts were also delicious. I’m glad I found this place!

Had the Beyond Backcountry with vegan chz and special sauce. Kale Caesar salad, and Brussels sprouts. All was absolutely delicious. Server was great. Beautiful restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Would give 5 stars if allowed.

I live in Missoula and frequent Bozeman quite a bit, this was a good spot to sit down and eat a burger, the vegan “backcountry” sauce is good and they had many vegan options

Happily surprised by this burger bar. There are a few vegan/vegetarian appetizers, all salads have Beyond Beef protein option, all burgers have Beyond Beef patty option, there's a Vegan burger option (Beyond Backcountry burger) and a vegetarian burger that I got (Stillwater burger) minus the aioli and added in the house-made vegan bun they mention for the vegan burger. It was very good, as was the brussels sprouts appetizer. Busy, fun atmosphere on a Friday night, good selection of local/regional beers as well.
