Cheap authentic Bajan food

I think this place is linked with Apple Crate in Trents, they have most of the same things on the menu. Apple Crate has a rotating daily special though, whereas Back to Eden I don't think does.

There is usually a counter at the front with rotis and filled bread rolls and then of course juices and fruit smoothies.

Really good little lunch if you're passing by on the way to the beach or just want something vegan and cheap whilst you're in Speigtstown.

Pros: All vegan, Cheap

Cons: Unreliable opening hours

Great snacks

We bought a lentil burger and a curried bread plant roti, both were really tasty.

Pros: Inexpensive , Tasty, Local flavours

Cons: Not much choice

Healthy filling food

An earlier review calls this a cafe but it’s more of a shack on the street now - take away only. We had the burger and the vegetable roti. $20 BD for both. They were warm and tasty - and very filling. There’s a whole board of juices too though we didn’t try them. Also a few different slices of cake available.

Pros: Healthy , Cheap , Tasty

Cons: Basic choice of 2-3 options only, No seating

Delicious 100% Vegan cafe in Speightstown

Great place with friendly service. Roti, lentil burgers, mixed platters / take-out boxes. The roti and burgers were just $8 Barbados.
They also serve great homemade sorrel and ginger drinks (the ginger is HOT and delicious). There was a range of cakes too but we didn't have room :-(
They have tables to eat in or you can get take-away and there are some benches and shaded spots just along the road by the sea.

Directions:
Back to Eden is on the main road through Speightstown, on the sea side of the road, in a building that faces the pink-painted Jordan's Supermarket. I will add photos of the signs if possible. It looks a bit run down when you go in but you'll quickly find Back to Eden on the ground floor.

Pros: All Vegan , Really cheap, Choices

Cons: Only open daytime, Building is a bit run down
