Great find in Sintra - Edit
By the time I was done with my tours it was around 4pm and the only vegan restaurant on Sintra had closed so this was a nice find with vegan option. I had a vegetable soup and dish called ‘a bras’ that was a tower of shredded potatoes, leeks and spices - very nice. The place was cozy and the service was exceptional.

Had the vegan "a brás" dish in this quaint restaurant, and it was amazing! The side of spinach with garlic was quite nice as well.

Una buena opción en sintra - Edit
El plato principal que sirven vegano es una versión de un plato "estrella" de la casa con bacalao. Esta genial si tienes que compartir con gente no-vegetariana o si quieres probar algo típico y no estar viendo a la otra persona ponerse las botas mientras tú comes lechuga con tomate. En concreto hablo de 'puerros á brás'. A mi la ración me pareció súper abundante. La crema de verduras por 3'90€ está buenísima y es un buen plato también. Pedimos igualmente la batata, que eso sí nos sobró un poco quizás. Aunque no hay mucho donde elegir (al margen de esto hay un par de opciones de lo que llaman acompañantes: arroz con judias o espinacas con ajo), me pareció una buena opción, la comida es buena y de precio bastante honesto. No es un restaurante cutre para turistas, la comida está bien elaborada.

Unexpectedly good options at a fish restaurant - Edit
We decided to try this place after finding it here on Happy Cow, and we’re glad we did. It’s a cool little place in an alley in historic downtown Sintra. Service was great and turnoff was very good. We each ordered a soup and the vegan Alho francês à Brás, and split a side of rice and beans between the two of us, and it was a lot of food. #Veganuary

Nice of them to have a vegan option clearly marked! However it does not have much sustinance- it's oily leek, potato and onion. Takes ok but it would be good if any of theirbother dishes were vegan, they could be clearly marked.

Servem também azeitonas e pão e têm sopa de legumes
Estava tudo muito muito bom.

You can find a vegan version of the bacalhau à Brás:) nice sangria and desert too. Ask for the gelado de lima, it is sorbet and vegan:)

Read moreI ordered the roasted sweet potatoes and the one labelled vegan option. The sweet potatoes were good, but the leek main was amazing (my non-vegan friend even said it tasted as good as the fish version)

restaurante aceita reservas. só há uma opção vegan no prato principal (alho francês à brás) mas é mesmo boa. os acompanhamentos, sopa e sobremesas também tem opção vegetariana ou vegana.
