Cupcakes! - Edit
While I have never been to this specific location, today, I went to the location in Hillcrest, and I also have spoken to the Bakery and Sales Department. The Hillcrest location does not always have vegan cupcakes, which is why I cannot add it to HappyCow. I asked an employee about this and was told they usually get some vegan cupcakes on Friday and will usually have some through the weekend. However, it is best to call beforehand to ask or to preorder the vegan cupcakes, which require 48 hours but gives you more flexibility with flavor combinations.
Read moreI preordered some vegan cupcakes (vanilla with chocolate frosting), and when picking them up in Hillcrest, I noticed one vegan cupcake (salted caramel) left, so I decided to grab it. These are definitely some of the better cupcakes I have had in San Diego. The cakes are super moist, and the frosting is fluffy. While I wish they had more stable vegan options in-store, they are worth trying!

Coffee and vegan cupcake - Edit
During my visit, there were two vegan options in the display case: chocolate fudge cupcake (which I enjoyed) and red velvet cupcake. Most of the walk-in business came from coffee beverages. Looks like a good option to pre-order cupcakes or cake for a special event. Their other location is in Hillcrest. #Veganuary
