Babushka’s Hyde Park

I was so pleasantly surprised by this spot! Babushka’s Hyde Park has a handful of vegan options, and they’re actually thoughtful, not an afterthought thrown on the menu. Everything tasted fresh and comforting, and you can tell they put effort into making plant-based guests feel included. The menu items marked V are vegetarian but the servers are trained to make them vegan upon request.

The atmosphere is super cute and cosy, with a little European café vibe that makes it perfect for a brunch date or a quick bite before a show. It’s also just a short drive from the Straz Center, which makes it an easy go-to for pre-theatre food without the usual downtown chaos.

If you’re vegan or just plant-curious, definitely give this place a try. I’ll be back! 🌱💚
