Good vibe place

The owner/chef operates alone and there are only 2 dishes, bibimbap and sundubu(soft/silken tofu) the minimum pax is 2 otherwise you won't be able to eat.

Pros: A lot of side dishes

Good soul traditional Korean food

1 grandma show. 2 main dish on the menu at 1 time. Sometimes might will change. It's was really good if you can find it. Located on a building 1st floor with no flashy signboard. Tends to get really busy during lunch

I would give it 5 🌟 if I could.

Very yummy standard Korean cuisine. One Grandma serves all the food. You pay either via Card or Cash(self-service)
Mostly local and the owner is very nice with everyone although she's servicing only herself.
Food is super yummy. Would definitely go back again.

Go early

Place seems quite popular with locals, owner didn't want to accept further customers when I reached around 1.30pm as she was running out of ingredients. She prepared a meal for me nonetheless after I showed a note explaining I was vegetarian. Had a great healthy meal for just 10,000won!

Must go

The restaurant is located inside the building, not on the street. The owner is super nice and the food was so delicious. We had a full lunch for 7€ each.
I left very happy and satisfied.
Would give it 5* if the app let not fully vegan restaurants have them.

Pros: Muchas opciones veganas, Nice owner, Delicious

Yummy

I have to admit it’s a bit hard to find this place but it is worth. I took a picture of the building you have to enter, go through the marked door and the restaurant will be on the same floor on the left (at the end of the corridor)
As soon as I entered the lady asked if I’m vegetarian, you just have to say VEGAN and she will know what to do.
When I came she was just serving everyone bibimbap either in different versions (the greeen-yellow pancakes are vegetarian). She made vegan ones for me (from red cabbage and they were purple)
A got a lot of side dishes and what I love about Korea you can just ask for more if you like some of them, it’s included in the price.
I also got a hot soup with soy bean paste, zucchini, mushrooms and tofu.
The sauce and rice are in separate bowls but you are supposed to mix the veggies in the big bowl with rice and the sauce.
For the whole thing I paid 10,000.
Be aware that the place is open everyday besides Sunday from 11.30am till 3 pm.

Pros: Tasty, Big portions

Cons: A bit difficult to find

Cozy homemade food

The old lady that served us was lovely and even asked for a picture when we left! There is only maybe one or two options per day, as it is homemade food. We had bibimbap and absolutely loved it. We were served so so much food.
Only downside is that the restaurant is a bit hard to find as it is inside a building and doesn't have a sign and when we went there it looked closed but wasn't.

Pros: Delicious homemade food, Authentic Korean food , Cheap

Cons: Hard to find

Wonderful ☺️

I am really disappointed that I cannot give 5 stars to this restaurant whereas it doesn’t serve fish or meat. The menu is small but it guarantees quality! The bibimbap was one of the best I had in Korea and I was also amazed by the quantity and the quality of the side dishes. I think the banchans made this restaurant really great (especially the purple jeon, I would come back just for them 😁). The lady that seemed to run the kitchen alone was also really nice and even gave me corn to go. I have never had so much food for this cheap, and all the vegetables she served were so fresh and tasty: this restaurant deserves 10 stars!!!

Pros: Sooo much food, Everything is so tasty, The owner is so nice

Lovely owner

Happy Cow’s hours weren’t up to date so we arrived in the evening when they were closed, but the owner saw us standing outside and told us to come in anyways and made us a lot of delicious food! Just tell her you are vegan and she will hook you up

Hidden little gem

Super friendly owner was talking to us about her love of Soho. Food was outstanding. The bibimbap in particular. Not the easiest place to find but if you follow your map it'll lead you to an office building with Jeju Bank, just walk through alley way on your right.

Pros: Two vegan options both were amazing, Cheap

Cons: Not super easy to find if you're not used to Korea

Delicious Food but Refusing Foreign Guests not from Jerry

2nd review: They refused to serve us because we were visiting during covid-19 pandemic. They refused any guests from outside Jeju Island. They even refused to give takeout food. We were very disappointed and will not come back.

1st visit review: The food was fantastic. Coming from the main road it was located on the ground floor and pretty easy to find for us. Just pass the elevator (to your right) and walk to the back of the building.
Also had very good company which I met by accident on the way to the restaurant.

Pros: Food, Atmosphere

Cons: Sign that foreigners not welcome due to Covid-19

Cozy and tasty

Even using the other reviews for guidance it was hard to find; we parked near the bowling alley, went through it, then upstairs to find the restaurant. A sign said that the restaurant was closed, but the owner saw us and said we could come in. The restaurant is snug and seating is traditional, on the floor. I had a delicious bowl of perilla seed soup, and the banchan were tasty. Everyone enjoyed their food.

Pros: Food came quickly, Tasty, Wholesome

Worth trying

We came quite late, only 25 minutes before it's close but the owner lady was so welcoming and friendly.
The shop is inside a building and doesn’t have any sign, so it was hard to find. But, trust the map. When you get to the building, it is on the ground floor and next to a barbershop.
If you drive, there is a small parking lot in front of the building as well. We didn't know that so we parked at the nearby alley which was still good.

Pros: The banchan (side dishes) is delicious, Bibimbap and the salad are tasty, Can ask for more banchan for free

Cons: Kimchi has fish sauce so be careful

Hidden Gem

Although this restaurant is rated as veggie-friendly all the dishes they served us were vegan and the owner said herself that no fish Sauce was used. And everything we got was worth the visit, even if one has to search for the restaurant some time. Especially the side dishes were awesome! This place should get 5 Stars instead of only four.

Lovely place

It was a very nice temple style meal. The pancakes were just on another level of good. The fresh salad was garnished with a citrucy gravy with was a blessing since Jeju is knows for it's citrus fruits. So you have a traditional meal with a Jeju touch.

Pros: A taste of Jeju without the sea food

Cons: Hard to find

Tasty healthy food!

*Their kimchi is NOT vegan. Has fish sauce in.* You can tell them that you are vegan and they will only give you vegan side dishes. If you don’t like seaweed tell them in advance so that they don’t bring it out. They only have three menu of which we tried two (soft tofu soup and perilla seed sujebi (wheat dough in creamy soup?) and they were all really good! It might taste bland kn the beginning since it’s not salted strongly but the tofu and perilla seed taste was deep and flavorful. All their side dishes were tasty too! Will try their bibimbap next time. Bibibap also seem to come with a side of mini sujebi. Oh the sujebi has seaweed (wakame) in but doesn’t taste that strong.

The place might be difficult since it doesn’t have a sign outside to find but trust the map and go into the building and the place is on the ground floor, back of the building next to the bathrooms. It’s a tiny place and can be busy around noon.

Pros: Tasty healthy food. Even side dishes are tasty, Only three menu making decisions easy, They understand what “vegan” is

Cons: Kimchi not vegan. But rest seems all vegan, Place is very small

My go-to restaurant

Small and cozy place where you have to sit on the floor.
Almost vegan but not entirely(fish source in the soup, fried egg on the bibimbab)
The owner knows what vegan is so every dish on the menu can be veganized if you tell them you're vegan.
There's only three main dishes on the menu but they are all good and healthy.
Highly recommend!!

Pros: Food is good healthy

Cons: Sitting on the floor
