Terrible vibes - Edit
Our visit to Babes was deeply disappointing due to the manager's openly hostile and prejudiced behavior towards their staff, especially females. It was incredibly uncomfortable to witness, overshadowing any positive aspects of the meal. The manager's constant berating of employees created a tense and unwelcoming atmosphere that made it impossible to enjoy our dining experience. I would strongly advise against supporting an establishment where employees are treated with such disrespect and disdain, gross.

Love the vegan options - Edit
The vegan macaroons are so special to find as an option. I eat dairy but not eggs and with vegan baked goods are hard to find. I’ve had the vegan high tea option at both locations four times and I’ll keep going back because how creative, thoughtful, delicious they are offering these options. Generous servings and will have leftovers!

I am so impressed with this place! My husband and I have tried high tea at other places that claim they can accommodate vegans. What that usually means is I get a couple pieces of celery with bland hummus and no dessert, and he gets a mountain of flavorful and creative snacks for omnis.
Read moreNot so at Babe's! I had the most delicious variety of finger sandwiches that were absolutely inspired, scones with thick and delicious vegan cream (not quite clotted cream, not quite whipped cream), and desserts that were so yummy including a vegan macaron!
Their tea selection is vast, and you get unlimited service. I was offered two kinds of non-dairy milk, and the entire staff is knowledgeable about dietary restrictions.
To top it all off, the place is adorable, and our service was excellent. Karli was a joy to behold - charming, warm, friendly, and welcoming. We could not have asked for more and will definitely be back for a special occasion here and there!

We reserved the 90 minute afternoon tea service, and had a great time. The service includes unlimited tea selected from a menu of at least 40 different blends - our favorite was a cherry almond black variety. The tea service also includes a selection of finger sandwiches and pastries, which can be made vegan for a $2 surcharge. The snacks were elegant and satisfying - no compromises, including vegan "clotted cream" for scones. Gluten free options are also available, and our sever was careful to confirm any food preferences or allergies when we were seated.

Our servers were friendly and knowledgeable, but seemed a bit overworked. Since the tea service centers on sampling across the tea menu, we were a little disappointed that we had to flag folks down to ask for fresh pots.

Cons: more staff would have improved the experience
